Really nice overnight stay here. Comfortable room, more than enough space for one. Food excellent at value prices. 3 Course evening meal for under £25 washed down with a bottle of wine. Very good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Happily stay here again.
A very pleasant hotel in a convenient location on the main road not far from St Helier and Gorey. The room was clean and comfortable with a generous provision of tea and coffee, a big bed and lovely thick bathroom towels. The restaurant is airy and spacious, breakfast is generous with tasty local produce and dinner was enjoyable and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a most enjoyable stay.
This is a good hotel, not the best but it is three star. The location is great to explore the island and only short bus ride to St Hellier. I note the comments about the rooms needing modernization this was relevant to the room we had,but it was clean and tidy, the rest of the hotel was good, can't comment on pool because it wasn't open. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice, we ate in the restaurant on three occasions for evening dinner and had three good meals with a good choice of food. A special mention for the bar and restaurant staff, in any hotel they are the front line and make or break the experience, in our case they made it a very pleasant stay
We stayed at The Beachcombers Hotel for 7-nights on a bed and breakfast basis in April. Our family group comprised 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Could not fault anything. The family room was spacious, well equipped and cleaned daily. The breakfasts were of a high standard with a hot and well stocked buffet offer and the usual cereal selections, fruit juices, etc. Good hot coffee also worth a mention. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive - a credit to the Hotel. We ate in at the restaurant on one evening and the food was excellent. The Hotel is located direct on the well serviced bus route that runs between St Helier and Gorey. It's a short walk to the stop. We used the Hotel as a base to explore the island and were out and about every day so the bus service was key. A quick tip. If like us you plan to be all over the island and want to make use of the fabulous, well connected bus service, pick up a family bus pass from the bus station at St Helier. This cost us £60 for the 7 days but meant we could travel all over the island and jump on and off as many buses as we wanted. This represented great value for money.
A lovely quiet hotel, rooms were nice would benefit some modernisation. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was really nice, some sugar free jam would have been nice as I am a diabetic. This hotel has some rooms that would be perfect for foster carers.
A nice hotel with pleasant staff but on arrival no towels or phone in the room and our friend had unfortunately Broken her foot a few days before ,so hotel is not equipped for disabled people in wheelchairs, which made it difficult for our friend to go up&down stairs, they also didn't have a tele command for TV. Really good breakfast and lots of it
Work booked me into this hotel at such short notice that I didn't know where I was staying until I was in Jersey. I half expected it to be a bit rough but was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, nice breakfast and a decent choice of evening meal. Would happily stay here again.
We arrived to find our bed had seen better days , The receptionist, informed the manager who after some unessasary drama , changed the bed while we were out. Hotel is spotless. Quiet. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Lacking in air con which would make an incredible difference . The manager needs to just calm down a little and be more professional and not every ones friend. When a problem arises, don't make it the problem of the guest deal with it discreetly and professionals. We stayed 5 nights and had a lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel. No one on duty at night and no phones in room I case of issues in the evening .
We loved this hotel the staff were friendly . The hotel itself was spotlessly clean . Beds were comfortable , towels white & fluffy & changed daily if one wished. The room was large & well equipped . Perhaps my only disappointment was the fact we had the same evening meal menu on 2 evenings but there were other lovely eating places at Gorey pier about 3 kilometres away. It was a short walk to the golf course & beach. I would certainly return again & recommend it highly.
I am a locus working in Jersey and i needed a night of TLC due to ill health, i was looked after by the fantastic staff and the room was comfortable and clean and defo provided me with a bit of RnR and felt great the day after! Thanks for looking after me!! Il be back!
