This hotel is just at the top of main town centre street 3 to 4 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is good for the money you pay for the location to the city centre. The beach and harbour are about 15 minutes walk away through main street . Bedroom furniture was a bit dated but done the job room was a reasonable size. Bed was OK a good size room was cleaned daily to a good standard towels e.t.c. Staff at the hotel were lovely at the reception and cleaning staff were nice we only ate breakfast here and it was nice {full English} plus cereal,s fruits and yogurts. This hotel also benefits from an in and outdoor swimming pool with towels provided. The hotels bar and joining bar we did not use so cant comment but looked nice. Overall this hotel is a good location, clean and good breakfast and would definitely stay here again.

Staff were amazing and helpful Pizza place, pub and pool area very grotty but as far as the hotel goes, cocktail bar and restaurant it was ok Will prob visit again - you get what you pay for Great location

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast with a great choice of food. Great facilities including swimming pools and a jacuzzi. Walls are a bit thin, we could hear conversation and movement in upstairs room. Staff very polite and friendly, however, restaurant staff are a little stern and not so welcoming, they did a great job but a friendly smile wouldn't go amiss. However, we would definitely go back there.

Our first time in Jersey and though the hotel was a bit dated it was clean and perfect location. We had a family room and the hotel was very family focused, staff welcomed us and couldn’t have done more even remembered our son liked apple juice with his breakfast! Pool was checked daily and was very clean. Would recommend and will be staying again.

The reception staff are always friendly and helpful, checking in was smooth and was allocated a lovely comfortable room overlooking the pool. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard and the cleaning staff also very friendly. Once again the breakfast did not disappoint, lots to choose from and something for everyone. Although the hotel is a little dated in places I think this is part of its character and what makes it comfortable. Some hotels are more modern but less comfortable and less friendly. Hotel wifi updated since last year (when we last stayed) and a lot faster. I have visited this hotel many times over the last 6 years and most of the staff are still there and nothing is too much trouble. The location is excellent,I will be returning again soon.

Worst place ever came here to relax and de-stress, the first night great but down hill from there rude guests woken us up at 5am and the cleaner themselves make it sound like there knocking through the walls... so stressed never coming back

Stayed here for 3 days. The place is spotless and the food is great. Reception staff are very friendly. Well worth the money. Great location to the town. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Stayed at the Apollo for three nights last week. Good Points - Great friendly and informative reception staff and Although the hotel needs a bit of TLC it is spotlessly clean. It is situated in a great position for St Helier Centre about a 5 min walk and it is less then £20 in a taxi from the airport. Our room which was overlooking the garden had a massive bed and plenty of wardrobe space with a well proportioned bathroom, and it was made up everyday.Breakfast is served in the restaurant, which consisted of a buffet style full english, which was tasty and fresh and also the usual cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc. As much as i hate doing it here are the bad points - Serving staff at breakfast are very very miserable, especially the male ones and are to a point quite rude in their manners.Huffing and puffing when asked for anything and just not smiling....The shower in our room 117 was slow to say the least, and the room was very stuffy. All in All you get what you pay for so my only real beef was the waiting staff at breakfast..if you don't like your job them don't do it.To me this is a shame because the Apollo is a nice hotel.

This break was with Condor and was just as they described situated in town with short walk to shops very clean throughout well received at reception and shown to room via a lift this was great as wife not good on legs room 5 star clean throughout beds so comfortable view over courtyard swimming pool maid service brilliant breakfast great but evening meal on set menu a real let down there is al a carte but was not told till last evening we could eat from that would certainly stay again room 15 thanks Apollo

Firstly I was told there was a few steps around when enquiring that my husband has limited mobility. I did expect to find slopes that would accommodate wheelchairs tho, not even to the main entrance at the front of the hotel so my husband never saw the reception area as we always went out the fire escape door to the car park via the restaurant thankfully that they allowed us to do this. The waiting staff in the restaurant were perfect, very polite and quick to clear your debris away after a very nice and fulfilling breakfast. Can't say all reception staff were the same tho, as I went to ask if anyone had honestly reported scratching our car rear bumper in the car park only to be told "No" when I had only got out the words "has anybody...." Room was tidied nicely every day and the Hotel was very clean throughout, yes some areas might need a paint brush but nothing was dirty. We only had one meal in the restaurant at night but a 4 course meal for £16 was a bargain and a good choice for each course to choose from. Sadly I wouldn't return to the Apollo because of the lack of disabled access which I thought was bad for any hotel to have so little, we chose it because of its private car park as we took our own car over because of having the mobility scooter needs. Another plus was the indoor swimming pool that was very nice, even the outside pool was still in use to some "hardy" folk. Apollo hotel get rid of some steps and put in slopes as the average age observation of your guests could put to use....
