We loved our stay at this hotel. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and taken to our room by one of the hotel staff. The room was a spacious twin overlooking the car park. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast and a range of items on the buffet. We didn’t eat in any of the hotel’s restaurants as we were so close to the town centre so we ate while we were out. Brilliant leisure facilities. Often very quiet in the pool/jacuzzi and also at the gym. Great facilities with changing rooms/showers. We also liked the fact that the hotel is attached to a pub as well as having its own cocktail bar. Definitely spoilt for choice. Very good outdoor space for relaxing - very comfortable garden furniture! We travelled from the bus station by taxi for £4.50 but also noticed that the number 4 bus passes the hotel. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
The Apollo met all our expectations on our first visit to Jersey. Good location, courteous staff, clean rooms and public areas. Good quality breakfast choices. The indoor and outdoor pools were a bonus. Overall very good value for money and would certainly stay there again.
Very good hotel which is central to St Helier. This was a very clean hotel with friendly staff. Pool and hot tub was lovely and very quiet. I stayed here over Easter. Good Friday until Monday. I went with my sister and mum and we all had our own double rooms. I was in room 135 which was fairly spacoius and clean. It was over the hotel's sports bar but wasn't too loud. I personally didn't think the noise was a problem. We ate twice in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Food and service was very good. They have a small selection of food on their main menu and a set 4 course menu which seems to change daily at a good price. We also had breakfast one morning which was very good too. We used the hotel's pizza place one night, which wasn't so good. We wanted a quick, light meal as they open at 6 rather than 7pm like the restaurant. We arrived at 6:10 and waited over 20 mins for 2 starters to come out, which was only olives and a side salad. We didn't actually get our main meals until after 7! Which was 2 jacket potatoes and a spaghetti Bolognese! The jackets were a little hard in places and mine was very dry. I had tuna and cheese. The tuna wasn't in mayo, which is fine, but there was no butter on it and we wasn't offered any either. My mum said her spag bol was pretty tasteless! Overall, hotel and restaurant was very good with helpful, friendly staff. Just would not recommend the pizza place.
I was visiting Jersey for work and simply needed somewhere to get my head down. The hotel is ideally located, just a 2 minute walk to Hilgrove Road and all the shops etc. Hotel itself was clean, tidy and the reception area very smart for a 3star hotel. My room had a huge queen size bed, it was all immaculate and functioning. Decor is a little out of date but other than that - I was happy. Staff all welcoming and friendly too. I’d happily return for a night or two if i need it
This was our second year's visit of 8 days and it was the same excellant service that we received this time. The restaurant exceeded expectations both in the choice of menu and the staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Reception staff were only to willing to assist in any way they could. Car parking is available which is a bonus in the town. The rooms are light, clean and well equipped. We shall certainly return again this year.
We have just come back from Apollo Hotel and the staff are friendly, food is excellent and rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only complaint is the seating arrangements in the restaurant. We couldn't sit where we wanted and that needs to improve.
Family with my partner, brother, sister in Law and mother The rooms were clean and tidy, the indoor swimming pool is on the small side and the gym is small and the equipment a little tired. The restaurant served reasonably nice food and service was ok The hotel is in need of an upgrade but well worth the money
Just returned from this hotel, another great stay there this was our 3rd time staying at the hotel, from the moment from checking in and checking out a great stay, the room had everything what you would expext, bed was specious and the shower was great( I love a good shower:-) ) we will be booking this hotel again for next year as soon as flights come out, location of hotel could not be better, the only downside is that we've not use the facilities ie breakfast, pool, sauna, etc that's due to us, but next time we will, To all the staff at The Apollo thank you.
Just spent a few nights here on a short break to Jersey. This hotel is on,y minutes away from the main shopping area, cafes etc. It’s a small friendly place, nothing too trouble, and the breakfast is great, full English, continental cereals etc, something for everyone. Had dinner there one night, the slow cooked beef and Guinness pie was wonderful! Not too expensive either. Good basic hotel for visiting St Helier
We visited the Apollo with friends in February Excellent location near the heart of the city centre Whilst the Hotel is quite dated in its decor it's clean tidy and the staff are very helpful & friendly Breakfast is included in the price and there is plenty of choice for everyone Prices are not cheap but that I'm afraid is across the board in Jersey 🇯🇪. All in all a pretty good hotel 👍
