We choose to stay here for a couple of nights because we want to experience the rockies. Very reasonable price for a hotel with a brand name. The front desk are very efficient. And the rooms are very clean with good beds. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in Hinton or Jasper area.

This hotel is very reasonable. There is a restaurant, a lounge, pool with waterslide, a sauna/steam room and a gym and also a laundry. The people and the service was very impressive. I was very happy to be acknowledged as a valued IHG member. They took care of my special requests and accommodated my friends and family's request too. The rooms are nice and spacious. The extra pull out L-shape couch was amazing in room 259. Lastly, the breakfast was not complimentary but it was very convenient to have a restaurant right in the hotel and on top of it the food was delicious. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Stayed here for a night on our way from Jasper to Edmonton. The hotel in general smells musty and the furnishings are a bit tired but the room was clean and comfortable. The highlight was the breakfast- freshly cooked from the menu and definitely a cut above the usual buffet-style arrangement.

Very nice hotel, had mini fridge, microwave and coffee in the room, good beds, clean, great staff, recommended a restaurant for dinner in town, and we had a very nice breakfast in the hotel restaurant in the morning. Good parking lot, would recommend if you are in the Hinton area

I stayed in this beautiful hotel on September 28,2017. Service was amazing. Front Desk Matt was very helpful.Gave us a beautiful room 217. Thank you Holiday Inn Hinton, We will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The desk staff were friendly. Nice pool area with a slide. The room was clean. The bed was OK. The room had a faint musty smell to it. We requested an extra blanket and the staff brought it very promptly.

Booked in here as we couldn't find anything in Jasper. Disappointed when we booked it as we wanted something nearer the rockies and a bit more traditional. However having stayed here we decided that this was a better place to stay. We got to see the hills in different light and weather each day. Beautiful trip that was a joy to do. Hotel staff superb. Fantastic breakfast. Good quality and huge selection. Gym was just right and I was the only user each time I used it. The pool and the hot tub was a haven after a long day sight seeing. Beds huge, comfy and the room was clean and airy. Cannot fault our stay

We arrived at 10 pm after 6h drive from Calgary, and we got our nice room waiting for us. Excellent and friendly service in the front desk while checking-in. Our queen beds very well made, nice tv, heating/cooling system easy to operate at your preference, easy access to the room located away from the entrance (corner room 154 very quiet). Plenty of space for free parking. Hot breakfasts well prepared and delicious. Our sleep was really good with nice beds and pillows. We selected Holiday Inn Hinton because the proximity to Jasper for the long weekend of Labour day (Jasper was full). And it was a good decision. Driving from/to Jasper area every day was amazing, nice views, nice road, and not really far (1h). From this hotel we visited the hot waters springs (Miettie Hot Springs), Skytram to access the Whistler Mountain (The Jasper SkyTram climbs to the summit of Whistlers Mountain, with views of downtown.and all mountains chain around... beautiful), the trail to Whistler peak is excellent, Maligne River canyon (This scenic, 50m-deep limestone canyon in Jasper National Park features waterfalls & more emotions), a good restaurant in Jasper: L&W Restaurant (nice lasagna and pasta). At Hinton we only tried McDonalds, because it was the only option opening late The hotel is highly recommended. The pool with slide and hot tub and steam room is great for adults and kids. I did not tried the gym, but it looked small but enough to burn some calories. Good Job guys.

Checked in at 5.30pm to find the door to my room propped open with a bin full of rubbish, the beds stripped & the room not cleaned. Then found it difficult to sleep due to a very loud noise from the water pipes every few minutes. Would not recommend this hotel.

I was in Hinton for work and was booked into the Holiday Inn. I arrived very late on the Monday evening and the staff were helpful and very quick to assist me. During my 4 days my room was quiet and comfortable. I didn't encounter any noise or issues. I had read many reviews of the smell in the hotel. The hotel is located in Hinton, home of lumber mills. I think one needs to be prepared for the fact this hotel is the working persons hotel. It has everything you need for overnight stays. I didn't use the pool nor the exercise room but heard from others they really enjoyed them. Overall, the staff were great, room was clean, housekeeping did a great job, and it was quiet. Can't ask for much more than that.
