quiet and clean. the room was cold when we arrived and breakfast wasn't anything special but if you need a place to sleep for the night, I suggest it.
We stayed at days inn over Christmas and were definitely impressed. Charlene and Darren were excellent! They made us feel like we were at home. We arrived to an extremely spotless king room; decorated for Christmas and had a gift basket waiting for us as well as nice Christmas music playing on the tv. We even got some homemade tarts! The bed was sooooo comfortable and we had one of our best sleeps ever. Breakfast was really good especially the breakfast sausages! We will definitely be back time and time again. They truly made it feel like this was our home away from home! Thank you Charlene and Darren!
Hotel was awesome. After a long day of driving it was easy to find and Charlene at the front desk could not have been nicer. She recommended places to eat and was super sweet. Even left a note for us at checkout and wished us a safe trip to Kelowna. Excellent customer service. Hotel met expectations however would have enjoyed hot food at breakfast. Usually Day’s Inn has better options. Would stay there again! Thanks Day’s Inn, especially Charlene!
Room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast hit the spot. Nice not having to go out to a restaurant for breakfast.
We were on a family trip which had been planned at almost the last minute. On our arrival at our booked hotel, we discovered that it had been mistakenly booked for the previous night and that the hotel was completely booked out. Accommodation in both Jasper and Hinton was heavily booked at the time and very few hotels had vacancies. We spotted the Days Inn and decided to try it. The receptionist was exceptionally good and managed to find a room that met our needs...given that the hotel was almost fully booked her efforts were appreciated. Not only was she delightfully efficient but her manner was pleasant and welcoming. She was much more than a " booking agent". The room to which we were assigned was clean and tidy and contained all the usual amenities. The ensuite bathroom was large, clean and had the best shower, in fact my wife claimed that it was the best hotel shower she had had for some years. The decor of the hotel was as expected , being functional rather than decorative and elaborate. The breakfast room was little small for a hotel of this size and at times was crowded. The provide breakfast options were basic but no member of our family left hungry. All in all this was a great mid-range option for weary travellers. For those travelling with children please note that there is not a pool or waterslide. Based on this experience we would not hesitate to visit other Days Inn Hotels.
Excellent alternative to Jasper. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. I had a corner room on the ground floor right next to the exit. It was big, bright with lots of windows and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable and had a great recliner chair for watching the tv! The full kitchen was a welcome bonus. Many nice restaurants nearby and local filling stations where you could buy all you needed. Great selection at breakfast and plenty of it. The hotel itself is quiet but noisy, inconsiderate guests spoilt rhe peace for me. Only downside was the gym and laundry facilities were out of commission, otherwise I would have awarded 5*
We stayed here for 2 nights and drove to Jasper one day to do some sightseeing. It's a very scenic one hour drive away. The hotel room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Our room had a full kitchen so we were able to prepare our own meal one night which was convenient . Breakfast was included and was very substantial. The hotel is a little way out of town but that didn't bother us. We'd certainly stay here again and recommend it to others .
Overall the hotel was good. They let us check in early to one of the rooms so we could change for a wedding which was fantastic and very much appreciated. The only drawback to our stay was the breakfast. The food that was there was good but I found that only a little was place out at a time. You had to ask for the food. Example: Only 2 yogurts, 2 egg like omelets and the room had at least 10 people there. They also ran out of plates. The host was very friendly. I thought they were just a bit chintzy.
It was a very nice place to stay. Room was very clean, good quality of mattress, so we had a restful sleep. Good variety of food for breakfast and very nice, helpful staff. Altogether very nice experience.
The Days Inn in Hinton was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet with very friendly staff. We would stay there again.
