We enjoyed our stay at the Candlewood Suites in New Bern. Our room was quite spacious, the bed comfy, and the kitchen unit was great for preparing breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring New Bern and it was wonderful having this comfortable space to return to in the evenings. The lady at the desk was helpful in recommending sights to see - and the complimentary cookies were yummy. It was nice having so many restaurants nearby. We would stay there again.

The property is a nice place and not trying to degrade the stay at all but if you pay 250.00 a night the least you can offer is a breakfast. My work crew was told because they where only staying 1 night that they did not qualify for free breakfast. Needless to say when we are in the New Bern area we will not be staying here again. Thanks,
