Where do I start..... My wife and I decided to break from the chain hotels and try the B&B experience. Keith and Dina were exceptional hosts. We had a chance to get to know both of them during their wine and cheese hour (something they have every night), It also gave us a chance to meet the other guests. The room was immaculate and the king bed was very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was small but accommodating and the shower had a beautiful tile layout. In the morning we went down for breakfast and let me say everything was absolutely delicious (5 star). Dina is an excellent chef. I will add everything was served on china and they had the coolest antique coffee warmers. The interior was alive and beautifully decorated. The location is a few blocks from downtown allowing us the chance to walk and enjoy the scenery. If your ever in New Bern please do not miss the chance to stay at the Aerie. It will be the only place you will want to stay when you visit. It will be for us. Thanks again Keith and Dina for such a wonderful stay.

We stayed in the Magnolia Room and it was absolutely beautiful. Especially the bathroom, the jacuzzi tub was amazing on a cold winter night! The owners were very friendly and even had a social hour with wine and cheese upon our arrival. They gave excellent restaurant and bar recommendations, offering copies of menus in the common area. They also have an extensive DVD collection for guests to use, which took me back to "the days" before streaming. I would most definitely stay with them again.

Our stay at the Aerie could not have been nicer even with the big snow. Keith and Dina outdid themselves to make us comfortable, safe and welcomed. Our room was delightful and the bed so comfy. I loved the up to date TV/DVD set up and the great selection of movies. Breakfasts were delicious and interesting. The wine social in the afternoon an unexpected bonus. We will stay again and visit in warmer weather!

I gave my mother a 3 day visit to New Bern, NC, as her Christmas present and booked rooms at The Aerie. The stay was absolutely wonderful. The Aerie has new owners who are just delightful. They have a sign at the front door that says, enter as guests & leave as friends, and its the truth! The house is lovely, the location is great for touring, the breakfasts are delicious, and the social hour was a perfect way to end each day. Hugs all around when we left!

We love the Aerie B&B in New Bern! The rooms are each unique, clean, comfortable, and they have a great little gift store where you can take home some memories of the trip. We have stayed there in the past at least twice and look forward to going back soon. The food is delicious, unique, and they are sensitive and responsive to food allergies/ restrictions. The owners are fantastic, nice, and very helpful! Great, friendly staff.

My husband and I had a wonderful three nights at The Aerie! The hosts, room, breakfast, location were wonderful! We loved being able to walk to everything and the time of year made it all the more beautiful! The "Egg Roulade" was heavenly! We'll be back, for sure!

I used to visit the Aerie under previous ownership. So quaint and I loved the decorations for Christmas. I returned this month for that very reason and while I enjoyed the new hostess and wonderful breakfast and comfortable bed, I missed the elaborate Christmas display. It was why I returned to New Bern during the holidays.

My husband and I highly recommend The Aerie as a weekend getaway, a date night, or a longer stay if you wish. Keith and Dina are absolutely the best hosts making sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The evening wine and social hour is a nice time to get to know the owners and other guests. The house is beautiful with the charm of a stately inn with modern amenities. The rooms are classic, the atmosphere is inviting, and the location is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We were there in December so all the Christmas lights and decorations were beautiful. You will without a doubt love your stay at The Aerie with Keith and Dina and your time in New Bern.

Aerie B&B...not to be confused with Air a stately but nicely modernized Victorian house centrally located in charming New Bern. You're about five doors down from Tryon Palace, the reconstructed colonial governor's residence, which is the town's chief attraction. Keith and Dina are lovely and welcoming hosts. The furnishings are Victorian, but you'll find modern hot tubs and even an electric vehicle charging station. It's a short walk to the waterfront; try The Persimmon for a great view of the harbor and good food.

I booked a weekend get away/surprise for my Wife and I based on my Doctor's recommendation, wow he was spot on again with his recommendation. We had the most fantastic time at the Aerie with Dina, Keith and the staff at their charming Bed and Breakfast which is a three minute walk to the Tyron Palace. The Breakfast is so well done with a couple of choices daily, actually you could probably skip lunch after one of these morning feasts. I had asked for something special to be in our room upon arrival and it was there waiting at the perfect temperature. We will definitely return and highly recommend the Aerie to anyone that appreciates this level of hospitality in a charming setting that is conveniently located in New Bern a city that is steeped in NC history. Don't pass this opportunity up. Pete & Monique Atherholt Swansboro, NC
