I didn't really like anything about my stay. I was there with a baseball team and we had a few rooms not even ready at 9 that night. My room had lots of spider webs in the cabinet around the refrigerator. I had hair on the toilet and bathtub. One of the boys rooms had blood on the pillow. My son's room had a pull out bed and it was nasty.
The bed was very comfortable and soft. The room overall was in okay condition. We have stayed here several times, and have been pleased in the past, but this time was disappointing. The hallway smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke the entire 4-night stay. No one was enforcing the no smoking policy. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The thing that has mostly influenced the mediocre (Borderline unpleasant) rating for our stay was the lack of internet accessibility. We did bring this up to staff twice during our stay and it was not fixed. Internet access is extremely important to us when we travel. We had to use a large chunk of our own data because we didn’t have internet service the entire time. There was also a dead cockroach in the elevator. Now that I think about it, I might have been way too generous with the “okay” rating.
The pool looked dirty. The room smelled like mold. The shower looked gross.
Everything was fine or in the least manageable. We had to make an adjustment with the drawers in the dresser which would not stay closed. The door to the cabinet holding the fridge did not close at all. But those were minor and we adapted.
The place I booked was not the place. I booked days inn. Inside rooms. The place the address took me to was a guality in on a dead end beside storage buildings with outside rooms. I did not even unload there. Terrible service. Took 1 1:2 hour on phone to get replacement room. Nightmare. Terrible. Picture was not the same.
Nice hotel and staff was great. But two trucks were broken in and stuff taken during the night.
I recommend avoiding this place at all costs. Rooms were not clean and never cleaned during my stay, although we requested that it would be. Staff doesn’t seem to care much. I had to get sheets and make my own bed after checking in because there was no clean room. Although it seems like there has been a somewhat-recent remodel, there are many broken items (floors, walls, etc) throughout the hotel, a sign of how it is being neglected. Breakfast is poor. I have never left such a bad review and I don’t enjoy it, but I want to help people avoid a poor experience.
OK room just was dark and had horrible WiFi service. And it was annoying that I had to get the key reactivated 3 times during my short 2 night stay. And a guest was robbed in the parking lot while on his way to get something to eat from one of the near by fast food restaurants. I was pretty disappointed with the hotel compared to the cost of the room. The lack of WiFi was a deal breaker.
