ok, except for the room was called non-smoking and it reeked of smoke and there were cigarette burns on the furniture and the bathtub(!). also sink was busted and patched poorly.

Hard to find because there is no sign! Staff was friendly. Room was clean but had a bad smell. It was late when I arrived and I just wanted to get to sleep so I didn't ask for another room. Continental breakfast was ok.

A swimming pool and microwave would have been nice. Exercise room equipment broken except for one machine could not use due to knee problems. The breakfast was plentiful except for last two days of stay when there were fewer people. Inadequate amount of coffee for most days--ran out. Very little food at breakfast the last two days. Housekeeping staff very good and room was spacious. Internet super slow due to inadequate broad band.

Tired worn out rooms. Broken shower rod and toilet seat. No guest service numbers available on in room phones. Inexpensive painted sign over entrance "Jackson Hotel" This cannot be a 3 star hotel!

Check in was a breeze, although perhaps a little too easy. Since my stay was pre-paid I would expect to have to show identification, but this was not required. The suites were very spacious, but the furniture was quite Spartan. The faucets all had dark, rusty water for the first few seconds and the bathtub in the first room we stayed in did not drain. We switched rooms after the first night after noticing a bug infestation. The new room had fewer bugs (few enough to go unnoticed by my wife). However, the second room had its own host of maintenance issues. There are plenty of other, newer hotels available around the fairgrounds for the value-conscious traveller. Consider them.

There's a 50/50 chance you'll get friendly staff, our room wasn't disgusting but it wasn't all that clean either. The location was perfect and for what we paid for the room it was a decent value. Their "king sized" beds are wide but I'm 5'7" and my feet almost hung over the edge of the bed. Also the "free cable" cuts in and out and the internet signal wasn't even enough for me to check my email.

My stay was great. Very convient to the area I needed to be. Room was clean staff was very nice. i actually recommended this hotel to someone in our group that needed to find a room when they arrived. The breakfast there was wonderful. I will stay again when in that area.

the hotel was right around the corner from where we were showing pigs. the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

I really enjoyed this place. I just wish I could have stayed longer. I am upset though. When I saw the rooms online they had a flat screen tv, but when I got there, my tv was dinosaur old. Other than the television every thing else is great. I will most defiantly come back to hotel.

For the price, this was a good hotel. The Staff was courteous, and the rooms were clean.

It served the purpose well enough (a place to sleep & bathe), but it wasn't anything to write home about (in a good way, that is). Contrary to the listing, there was an additional pet fee (which the hotel decided to waive, since we were obviously blindsided by it). The hot water was brown for quite a while, & there were no facial tissues or laundry bags in the room. The "free WiFi" was a completely ineffective joke, & the breakfast selections left much to be desired. We made other arrangements (but, in fairness, paid more) for our return trip.

For the cheap rate this hotel was right on the money. It served our need as a late night stop on our trip. The hotel room was clean. There was a little musky smell but overall very good night stay. The breakfast was good enough to get us on our way.

staff was nice, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fine.

MY EXPERIENCE HERE WAS HORRIBLE. EVERYONE HAD AN ATTITUDE AND MY ROOM WAS NEVER CLEANED. I HAD TO BEG TO GET TOWELS AND OTHER SERVICES. MY ROOM KEY DID NOT WORK AND EVERYTIME I WENT OUT OF THE ROOM I HAD TO WAIT ON THE FRONT DESK TO MANUALLY OPEN THE DOOR. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE!

we booked this hotel thinking it was good value for a 3 star, but really, it was not nearly up to par compared with others in it's category - Hampton inn, holiday inn etc. The lobby looked nice, but reeked of smoke. Our room was acceptable... But it was after we've unpacked that we realized that the room was recently shampooed and the carpet was still wet!!! We were too tired to move. Everything apprears clean, but more like due to intense scrubbing, as opposed to actually properly repaired or maintained. Overall, the hotel was not bad, but just more motel 6 than holiday inn.

I read the online reviews and was not expecting much more than a place to crash. I was very pleasantly surprised with every aspect of my stay, especially the value I got for the price. The room was a joy, the kitchen in the room was a real bonus, the included breakfast was better than most I might have paid $8-10 for, and the staff was superb. Parking was ample and well lit with tall fencing that relieved any doubt that the area was secure. I've already recommended the hotel to many of my associates in the insurance adjusting industry.

I had to drive my 2 sons to college in Texas and return home. I spent 2 nights at this Hotel. It was very reasonalbly priced. The breaksfast was surprisingly good and every one was friendly. Especially liked the two king beds in the room. Will stop in again.

lobby was beautiful but the elevator was very dingy.. Once i got to my floor.. There was dehumidifiers and my room was stinky like mildew/ mold.. As if there was a flood .. I was moved to a different room and it was better..

This was a great room for the price. 2 queen size beds, with kitchen area. It was a lot better than I expected.

Couldn't find it because it has no signs (it was previously a Holiday Inn). The front desk person didn't even know whether it was east or west from downtown. When we got there, the beds were excellent but the bathroom had a strange smell. Breakfast was OK.
