We had been driving 9 hours and pulled over in Canton. We stopped at the Econo Lodgek, I walked in Saturday, 10/28/17 at 2:30 in the afternoon - when I walked thru the door, I woke up the gal working - she was sleeping on a couch in the lobby area. There was a total of 4 cars in the parking lot - she said they didn't have any rooms clean; ;however it appeared from the parking lot the rooms were clean as the curtains were open. She then said it would be THREE hours before one was ready. We just said "thanks" and went down the street to a different hotel. I'm getting fed up with Choice hotels!

Old food in the fridge. Tiny rubber bands on the floor, and dresser, feces in the toilet seat, bathroom floor was dirty. The room was oddly placed, making the step up a tripping hazard. Leaving the dining area, after breakfast, the step down going out the door is unmarked, I tripped, leaving, spilling hot coffee on my hand.

When you are on a budget, this is not a bad place to stay. I'm one of those people that travel with a cleaning kit. So, I was prepared! IF you are a Hilton kind of person, this place is not for you. Not bad for the price. Approx 70.84 each night.

Nice Place easy in & out from interstate.Room was nice & clean smell fresh shower was nice and hot water was real good .Breakfast was good and rates was good .front desk guy very nice and helpful person

The carpet was dirty, had to move a nightstand to plug device in and the was filthy behind it, the paint was peeling off the walls, tub and sink drains not working, fridge frozen up and made too much noise, tv nor radio worked.

This was the ONLY motel with a vacancy in the area due to several events happening this weekend.  The good news is they had HOT water, and plenty of it. From there it went down hill. The sheets were stained, the security lock was broken, the fridge was dirty, the microwave was in poor condition, the bathroom was dirty and moldy, the baseboards were coming loose, there was only a partial roll of toilet tissue, the breakfast was very skimpy, the orange juice was only orange water, but there was plenty of hot water.

Horrible to say the least. Tiles falling off the wall, no outlet covers, and most of the outlets didn't work broken light covers, dirt and food on floors, fridge looked like it had pitted rust on it. When I went to the front desk the young lady was nice. I ask if she could come and look at the room; however she couldn't. I just wanted the room to be cleaned again if it even ever was, but that didn't happen. In the morning at check out I talked to the guy that was there and is all he would say is that he thought we was wanting a free room. Which was not the case. I would have even paid more if I would have got a clean room.

Young lady at desk was very helpful and had a sense of humor. We chatted for several minutes. She was able to direct to the local sub shops and explain the hotels amenities. My room was clean and fresh; a good value for the price.

I was mortified at how a management team could dismiss a maid, whom have been with the company for a year and was living there with her child. How the manager uprooted her from her home town, and then put her and two babies without a dime, leaving her to feign for herself and those poor babies, and in a few days they will be homeless again. If a manager could dismiss an employee like that tells me that this is not a place will come to or recommend for my friend. Just heartbreaking!

After reading reviews I checked in . . . and promptly checked out. Dingy. If the carpet had been vacuumed, the machine wasn't functioning. Bathroom light wasn't working. Sink had suspicious looking small pieces of debris stuck to it. Peeling paint. Cigarette burns through bedspread. Corroded metal under paint around handle of dingy microwave. Refrigerator freezer was a 10" block of frost. We left. The entry door to next room had a large section of paint peeling. I felt bad for the sweet apologetic desk clerk. Lord, somebody with good facilities hire her. Please.
