I have stayed in many hotels due to my job across the world including Starwood Hotels as a platinum member. One thing I recognized in Istanbul is that you cannot rely on star ratings as quality on non-global brands vary significantly. That's one reason I stuck with SPG. Le Meridien did not disappoint. For those who have stayed in other Le Meridiens will recognize the modern design, same fragrance and consistent high quality service. It is a big building with a large lobby, conference rooms, bars and restaurants. It is fairly new, even the standard rooms are considerably bigger than other five stars in Istanbul. I was pleasantly surprised with the rate - possibly due to the area being a bit residential rather than touristic or business. Regardless, it is close enough to the Boshporus strait with a set of rooms having beautiful view. Overall I recommend this hotel to those who are on a trip to Istanbul.
Rooms are clean and big, restaurants have very good food, the bar on the top floor is very nice, and the service was great. I really enjoyed my time there. Nothing is amazing but there isn't anything negative you can say about it
The hotel is pretty new. Rooms are big and very well equipped. Clean and silence ambient. Breakfast is top level. Staff very kind and professional. Security is top with car and personal control that makes your stay very safe. Recommended place in Istanbul for business and private trips. Massimiliano Moneta
Hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Room was nice decor and very clean. Very friendly staff. But underground and shops was not walking distance. You need to call a cab. It is not too far from the city centre. Can cost around £5 to get to the nearest shopping mall and underground.
I have stayed with my partner for 2 nights, it’s not bad. Stayed on 24th floor one of the corner room. View were excellent, seen the bosphorus and the bridge. And also room was very good with nice bath. Breakfast very rich and tasteful. The only down thing transporting.
Very nice hotel with excellent rooms - really great views. Very nice and overly helpful staff. Want to specifically point out manager Oxcan and Melike from the Latitude bar. They absolutely went out of their way to make our stay the best. Truly genuine as well. Hotel internet was really fast and experienced no issues.. 24/7 Gym is really nice - five treadmills with TV, free weights and machines. Only negative is if you workout early like me, before 7am, there are no bathrooms or changing areas. Bathrooms were locked for some reason. Hotel is a short cab ride to some really nice restaurants. Not too much within walking distance. Hotel l’elipse bar has an amazing view, but not too friendly wait staff.
I stayed at this hotel during Feb 2018 for a business trip along with more than 20 of my colleagues. The hotel is really nice, the lobby is big with beautiful modern decoration. Reception staff were friendly and fast in managing our check in process. The hotel let us check in early which gave us time to rest before launch and our meeting. My room was on 19th floor which was big and had a great view to the city. Breakfast and launch buffet were served in the restaurant on 4th floor. The food quality was excellent. The board room, ball room and other meeting rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is close to Ataturk airport.
Excellent hotel for business. Not extremely complicated to reach and quite. An ideal place where to meet people for business. Definitely far from city center. Rooms are spacious and service very much acceptable. Gym is too small and not properly equipped.
Stayed at this hotel on a business trip. Located in a quiet area, Etiler, 20.30 mins from Finance district and Tamin square. Hotel is clean and staff very professional. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable.Nice bar on the 34th floor, with great views. Only stayed 3 nights, so did not have time to check out spa and gym area, although did have a quick look around. Good breakfast with variety on international food. Ordered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon via a waitress, took 5 minutes and gratefully accepted. Breads and preserves, including fresh honey and variety of pancake toppings also very good. Hotel is perfect for business and at this time of year, very reasonably priced, would stay again if in area.
I stayed there for like 4 days for a business meeting and I gotta go to Taksim square for exchange because reception does not have enough cash and the ride took forever. Their room was really bigger than their competitors and the rooftop bar's view was nice. it's very pricey.
