まず、ロケーションは最高でした。ブルーモスクとアヤソフィアから本当に近いので滞在4日間毎日行きました。そして、ホテルの前は人通りも車も多くなく、夜中にうるさいということはありませんでした。ただ、モスクに近いので早朝5時に礼拝のお経？のようなものがスピーカーで流されるのでそのときだけは音が聞こえてきました。 私が宿泊した4階は、Wi-Fiが全く通じなかったので、それがマイナス1でした。 ホテルの管理人の方は感じが良く親切でした。 イスタンブール空港からホテルまでメトロとバスとトラムで来ましたが、バスの渋滞が酷く、Google mapが1時間50分だったにも関わらず実際2時間半かかりました。 だから、帰りは多少かかったとしてもタクシーと思い、ホテルでタクシーを手配してもらいました。タクシー代は定額で、乗るときに運転手に払えば良いとのことでした。 帰国日、チェックアウトを終えてタクシーが来たので、タクシー代を払おうとしましたが乗れ乗れといった感じでその場で払うことなく出発しました。 空港についてお金をクレジットカードで支払おうとしたら、キャッシュしか払えないと言われました。ホテルで手配した際はクレジットカードでOKと言われていました。 英語が話せないタクシーの運転手がホテルに電話をつないで私と話しをしましたが、クレジットカードで払えるとは言っていないの一点張りでした。 最終的に、一度物質としてスーツケースを運転手に預けたまま空港のATMでお金を引き出して渡して、スーツケースを返してもらいました。 滞在中、お土産を高い値段で買ってしまったり、日本語を話すトルコ人に高いお土産屋に連れて行かれるくらいのことはあったものの、スリの被害などなく無事に旅を終えられると思っていたら最後にこれを食らってしまったので、親切にしてくれたホテルの他の管理人の方には申し訳ないですが、最後に横柄に対応された方のせいで評価を最低にせざるを得ませんでした。だいたい、帰国するときに1000トルコリラを現金で残しておく人などいないと思います。 教訓としては、ホテルに手配してもったからと言って安くもなっていなかったので、最初から自分でUber使った方が良かったということを学びました。

Hotellet var bra. Billigt. Låg nära allt. Rent och fint rum. Rummet kunde ha varit lite större men ändå okej. Det enda som kan bli bättre är lite mindre ljud när man ska försöka sova.

Not good enough

The staff weren't friendly. The room was very dusty and surfaces hadn't been cleaned and I found long hairs on the bathroom floor. After staying here for two nights I stayed at Old City Apart hotel, 10 mins walk away, it was a similar price to what I paid per night for Sultan's Inn. Therefore I conclude that Sultan's Inn was cheap but not cheerful and you can get more for the same price elsewhere.

Cozy & nice hotel

Wij zijn heel tevreden over ons verblijf bij Sultans inn. Alles was zoals verwacht. De kamer en douche waren netjes. De verwarming werkte goed. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was goed geregeld. De locatie is heel gunstig. Het ligt binnen enkele minuten van de Sultan Ahmetmoskee. Tramhalte is ook heel dichtbij. De volgende keer boeken we mischien weer daar.

For the price its a good place if you are on budget. Beds and sheets could be more clean little dirty, same as towels. Place is old no elevator. My room had no view. Good thing its quite place hot water and good air conditioning, not smelly rooms bathroom was clean and staff are good not mean.

Location was great. The breakfast really needs improvements - never stayed in a hotel before with no fruits or cereals at the breakfast. The hot water in the shower (really needed for the cold weather) was intermittent.

The hotel was fine, the proximity to the tramway is a good point, the neighborhood (sultanahmet) was chic but expensive, breakfast was good but everyday is the same food, the staff are kind, the rooms are small, my overall stay was pleasant.

First room was dirty and very old. They theb moved us to gradually improving rooms during the stay. Breakfast was of variable quality and the dining area was not kept clean. Staff are nice though.

Céntrico pero sucio

Hotel económico, ubicación excelente con terraza para disfrutar el desayuno. Aspecto negativo, la limpieza, baño sucio previo a la entrada y durante las 5 noches permaneció igual, cambio de toallas de vez en cuando y las papeleras. Habitación pequeña y con suciedad y polvo por todas partes. No tiene ascensor y tiene 5 plantas.
