We really enjoyed our stay at The Galata Times Hotel. We had a stunning view from our room. The restaurant also has immaculate views! İt was in a convenient location with public transport near by. Lots of cafes and places to dine out close by too. A big shout out to Shahin at the reception desk as he was so friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond for us! Thanks for a wonderful stay. Will be back if we visit Istanbul in the future.

I stayed at the Galata Times Hotel during my trip to Istanbul and had a truly great experience. From the moment I checked in, Rahim at the front desk was super welcoming and kind. He really went out of his way to help me, arranging my tours and transportation so I didn’t have to worry about anything. The location couldn’t be better, Galata Tower is just a couple of minutes away on foot, and Istiklal Street is also close by, which made it easy to explore the city. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, with a nice vibe. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. Overall, this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Huge thanks to Rahim for making my stay extra enjoyable.

When we checked in, the room reserved had two major concerns: first, the AC was turning off every two hours which caused so much disturbance to our sleep as it was very hot weather in Istanbul. Second, the room carpet was very dirty and stained. We raised our concern to the receptionist a few times. At first, they informed us there was no other room available. After three days, we were granted another room with better flooring (less stain and much clean) but the AC issue was similar in both rooms. The receptionists and the lady at the restaurant (breakfast was included) were very kind and supportive. The location is great as it is walking distance from Galata Tower and Teksim - Istiklal area. I am sure with some attention to details like changing the room flooring and fixing the AC issue, this hotel can earn a 5 star rating.
