This is a great little hotel! And it's extremely clean! Please give those hard working cleaning ladies extra tips, they absolutely deserve it! The breakfast was also very good. Would stay there again!

Our room was not cleaned for 3 days. Instead of clean towels, the towels that were on the floor were just folded. Washroom was not cleaned for 3 days. They just make your bed with same sheets and that is it. Floor in the room was so uneven and squeaking. Terrible experience overall

Well, my stay here was really good Nice clean rooms, kitchen area where breakfast is served is super clean as well. Rooms are cleaned every daynwith fresh towels and the receptionist is super polite, provided an iron in about 3 mins. It's about 4 or 5 mins from the blue mosque, you go outside,left down the very steep road then straight upto the top (very steep) right at mini market, (this is about 1 mins walk) go to the end then take a left. As you go to the end of this street you'll see the blue mosque appear on your right. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend Four Door Hotel. The staff were very rude and unhelpful from the start, which immediately gave a bad impression. The rooms were not clean, and it was hard to get comfortable. On top of that, the noise from the street kept me awake almost all night, making it impossible to rest. The breakfast was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel — very poor quality and not worth it. Overall, a very disappointing experience

Tiny beautiful hotel on a very steep hill. Stayed in the double bed room in the basement. Quiet and comfortable with very good, icy cold air conditioning. Room was small but served its purpose. Free breakfast was delicious! Got to the hotel and after a 22 hour, three flight trip from Canada to Istanbul we were greeted at the hotel with a bombardment of buying a boat cruise excursion ( over $200 Canadian )which was a complete waste of money. Everything is tourist priced in the area so it’s at least three times more expensive than usual. Don’t shop anywhere if there are no price tags. Use public transportation,it’s easy and costs just over a dollar per ride. Absolutely stunning place to see. Highly recommend if you don’t mind walking up many very steep inclines and hot weather! No free beach close by, everything is expensive.

Good breakfast, view was alright, property was friendly and located near to the main attractions. Room was clean and well situated near restaurants. It is a slightly steep road though. The room we stayed in didn’t have an elevator so we had to transport the bags via the stairs, and WiFi was poor though, constantly cutting out. Overall, good property for the price.

The room was small but efficient for one person, which worked fine for me. The biggest issue was the air conditioning—it was very loud and made whistling noises every 10–15 minutes, which woke me up several times during the night, even with earplugs. My room overlooked the street and parking lot; it could get noisy during the day, but things quieted down by evening. The bathroom had a slight sewer smell, and the towels were badly frayed and really should be replaced. Communication with staff was sometimes difficult due to language barriers, which made it hard to explain my concerns. I didn’t get to try the breakfast since it started at 8:00 am, which is too late if you have early tours.

Hotel Review: A Deeply Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at what can only be described as one of the worst hotels I’ve encountered. From start to finish, the experience was far below even basic expectations, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this property entirely. Location & Safety: The hotel is situated in an unsafe and poorly maintained area. Even local taxi services were reluctant to pick up from this location, which speaks volumes. There were no nearby dining options, and services like Uber Eats were not available in the area—making food access a major issue. Facilities & Comfort: The hotel has a scheduled power outage every day from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, during which time there is no electricity and no air conditioning. In a hot climate, this made the rooms unbearably uncomfortable and nearly uninhabitable during those hours. This lack of basic amenities during peak daytime hours is unacceptable for any lodging establishment. Cleanliness & Food: The breakfast offered was not only unappetizing but also questionable in terms of hygiene and quality. It did not meet even the most modest of standards and was left largely untouched. Service: Customer service was nonexistent. The staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and seemed completely indifferent to guest concerns. At no point did I feel welcomed or valued as a guest. Clean and good location.

The hotel is clean and very well located, the personnel is somewhat indifferent, of the two male receptionists the one with the dark hair is nice enough, the one with lighter hair not so nice. Sorry I do not have their names. The breakfast is good, and the lady who works there is very attentive, and yet, one day she was sneezing all over the food. I am convinced the cold we caught originated there. If they assign you a basement room, try to change it, the floors are high, and there are 3 windows at street level, so you get quite a bit of noise and they do not have shades/curtains covering them completely.
