Worst hotel ever
My friend and I booked thru hotels.com and the whole thing has been awful. Online listing mentions checkin at 12p as well as at 2p, for starters. Room had obviously not been cleaned. Was advertised as smoke-free but that was not the case. Cig butt on floor, place REAKED of smoke. Ash on the table which also had many cig marks. "Couch" was disgusting with a ton of stains. Bed had no fitted sheet, only a flat sheet that was not clean. Closet had a mini fridge, with old food in it still. Clothing still in cabinet. Floors had obviously not been cleaned. Walls had dirt and stain/drip marks all over the place. Trash in the bins. Shower had awful mildew/mold. Customer service was just weird. A younger gentleman let us in, but there was definitely no front desk when we went in. He did not introduce himself. Just gave us access, told us what floor we were on and left. We were left in this house trying to figure out how to get to our room. Another guy, in relaxed clothes, came out of the ground floor/basement "apartment" and showed us how to actually Open our door to our room. He rattled of a ton of information all at once, seemed perturbed by questions, told us if we wanted to use the kitchen we could go up another floor, and then left. Just seemed bothered. We asked about the place being cleaned in an attempt to stay there but received no information and a feeling of push back as if we were asking for too much. The staircase reeked of cat urine.
