My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Amira Hotel in Istanbul. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect. Both check-in and check-out went very smooth. The only feedback I have is in regards to the Wi-Fi, it was sometimes either slow or it didn’t connect at all - other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.
My husband and I spent 5 days in Istanbul and we absolutely LOVED staying in Hotel Amira. Extremely central location & lovely, wonderful large room with an amazing, large comfortable bed...the bathroom was well heated, even the floor was nice and toasty!! Breakfast that is included is delicious too. The staff was so helpful, so nice...Turkish hospitality indeed! Next time we are in Istanbul we will definitely love to stay here again. Thank you again!!
I am not exaggerating to say that this is the best hotel that I have ever stayed at. It is not the fanciest or the most expensive, but it had everything that we ever wanted and more! As lots of other reviews testify, the welcome from every staff member was amazing, and they seem to go through a routine with everyone who checks in. They slickly get a city map, assess your level of knowledge of Istanbul and then explain where everything that you could possibly want to visit is, how to get there, whether to walk or use public transport, etc, etc. I had spent a few hours pouting over a guidebook on the flight over, but they covered it so much better and it quickly all made sense. The hotel is in a great location near all of the major sights and near enough to the tram stop, so we travelled there from the airport by train and tram - cost £2 each in each direction. Moving on to the room, the bed was so comfortable, the room beautifully decorated and cosy, the bathroom had a solid wall and door as one of my personal hates is the current fashion of glass doors to bathrooms and flimsy partitions that makes it feel as if you are using the toilet in the bedroom!! Nothing like that here. Excellent breakfast with loads of choice and different foods for each of the three days that we stayed. Lovely rooftop terrace, although we couldn't use it in December, but would be fantastic at warmer times of the year. I could go on and on, but I hope that you get the idea.
We arrived early and they were able to squeeze us into a room at 7am to nap before exploring the city. The room was clean and the bed soooo comfortable. They provided us with a great itinerary and had wonderful recommendations for meals. Their rooftop terrace was a bit cold in December but I look forward to returning for a glass of wine and that great view in warmer months! I have to say that I had no complaints--and the staff was absolutely fabulous!
The hotel is well located in the old part of the city within walking distance to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. The room was large very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Water and slippers in room and safe. Good buffet breakfast. Only negative was no tea time buffet available as out of season but did not know this and still in literature in the room
We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel cozy and quiet, the service was excellent, and staff was beyond great and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Good location as well, close to most historical places. It will be definitely my first choice in Istanbul. 👍🏼👍🏼💜
this was such a wonderful experience! I would rate it more if I could! the service is definitely better than what we had expected. the staff was very helpful and humble, the rooms very comfortable and breakfast great!
Fantastic holiday wasn't sure what to expect as never been to Istanbul before, definitely not disappointed,Adam on the door is a great host always trying to help you, Mehmet was also great,he changed our room to great view, will definitely be coming back, and will definitely be recommending to friends and family,😎
Thank you for a great experience, hotel overall is vert functional and comfortable, what really makes the difference is the service, so good on you, keep it up. The breakfast is also very good, loved the fresh fruits and strawberries were extremely good.
We stayed at Amira for 6 nights and can't say enough about the staff. From our arrival to our departure they were always polite, and helpful with advice and suggestions. Secondly, the breakfast spread put out everyday deserves high praise. Always fresh, and plentiful, with pay for options cooked to order if desired. The Hotel location is close to everything in old town, and not a bad walk from Galata Bridge or the Ferry terminals. Our room was a Standard Double Room, and we ended up in 301. 1 floor above street level, and on the street side of the hotel. Not always quiet, however we brought ear plugs and didn't have problems sleeping most nights after walking around the city all day. I'd certainly stay here again.
