Excellent Hotel.. Location excellent for all attractions and sights in Istanbul.. All Staff excellent.. Very friendly and super helpful.. Room lovely too.. Breakfast very good.. Thanks Mehmet Ali & Team..
We stayed at the Hotel Amira for a 3 night break, from start to finish the staff couldnt do enough for us, every member of staff was outstanding. we got an upgrade to a suite on the second day which really made the holiday extra special. The hotel is in fabulous location for exploring Istanbul during the day, the blue mosque is only a short walk away. Theres plenty of bars and nightlife within walking distance of the hotel too. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Istanbul. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay memorable.
Hotel Amira has a pefrect location, within a walking distance to the main Istanbul landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofyaand and the Topkapi Palace and a two-minute walk from Little Aya Sofia. It has the best staff, very friendly and hospitable. I felt welcome every moment of my stay and I just want to thank all the staff for making my stay in Istanbul enjoyable and pleasant.. My room was warm, clean and well decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and has something for every taste such as eggs, sausage, preserves, honeycomb, fresh fruit, cereals, dried fruits and nuts and more. i would definitely recomment this hotel and Amira will be my choice when i go to Istanbul next time.

Bathrooms complete with the necessities. Yummy Turkish Breakfast! The rooftop balcony is amazing! The location is so convenient. It is just walk away from the highlights tourist spots in Istanbul. Close to the restaurants and shops! I can't think of least thing I don't like about the hotel but all good!
super friendly staff, the hotel is right where you want to be, and the prices are very afforable. on of the top hotels i have stayed at. we give our highest recommandations. thanks to all the staff for making it a super pleasant stay
My husband booked us just over a weeks stay for the two of us at hotel Amira Istanbul. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the concierge staff. Our room was very pleasant and pretty much as the website photos showed. The hotel is very conveniently located in the historic Sultanahmet district. It is a five minute walk if that to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofya and Topkapi Palace. The grand bazaar is also not very far and whatever is slightly further afield is easily accessible by the tram which you can get right next to the Blue Mosque. There was an initial confusion with my husband having booked a smoking room through expedia and it turned out this is a non smoking hotel as Ali explained when my husband queried the non smoking sign in our room. However Ali kindly upgraded us to a larger room with a balcony space that my husband could use for smoking. Everyone happy. This hotel’s best asset are the staff who are friendly polite and always happy to help. They are professional at all times but also have personalities and will stop and chat to you and ask how and what you did that day. They provided us with a map and marked out suggested routes to take to local attractions and where to catch trams and the metro etc. This map we took everywhere and proved very helpful. The bed in our room was very comfortable and there was a complimentary assortment of teas coffee and fruit tea which was replaced on a daily basis. Housekeeping was carried out every day and all the bedsheets were changed and bathroom towels and bathrobes along with complimentary toiletries replaced. We would always come back to a clean and fresh room after a long day exploring the sights. Breakfast was served from 7.30 to 10.30 and this was a lovely spread of hot and cold options. There is truly something for everyone’s taste. We would look forward to seeing what the chef had cooked up for us each morning. One evening we decided to go for dinner and asked at reception for any good restaurant suggestions. They kindly arranged a booking for us arranging for the restaurant to send a car to collect us and drop us back to the hotel afterwards. We booked a private couples spa session for an hour. When we went down to the spa it was beautifully adorned with tea light candles all around and lovely smelling incense. This all added to the whole ambience of the spa and I personally thought it made it extra special. We loved it so much we booked another session. When our stay came to an end Adam kindly arranged a taxi to take us to the airport which was cheaper and the driver more friendlier than the taxi we had booked through Safe Airport Transfers before arriving in Istanbul. We would like to give a special thank you to Ali,AJ, Adam Aziz Harun, Ufuk and Ugur. These staff members made our stay special by alway going the extra mile. We had many interesting chats with them during our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return with our children in the near future.
Our family (four adults and one 2-years old baby) spent at the hotel some perfect days at the beginning of November 2017. We lived in Family room. What to say? Frankly, it was one of the best hotels we’ve ever been. Clean and cozy room, extremely helpful and hostile staff, great location, perfect breakfast. Reception staff is fantastic! They are able to solve any problem (just as to provide your baby with a pot, so to book tickets on show you want to visit tonight) and to answer any question (how to go to…, what restaurant is better, where can I buy… and so on). We booked a pick-up from/to airport via the hotel; it was great as well – comfortable and precise. Thank you so much!
I chose this hotel because my daughter had stayed there and highly recommended it to me. I had huge expectations and they were met and more. The breakfasts are feasts, catering for all tastes, which set you up for the day. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the fabulous sights, like the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. The staff were beyond helpful and kind, offering me brilliant advice on taxis and trams and saving me a great+ amount of time and money. My room was clean and well serviced. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
This boutique hotel just behind the Blue Mosque and in front of Little Aya Sophia is the perfect hotel for your stay in Istanbul. The location is just perfect, the decoration and ambiance make you feel instantly comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean. Added to a very helpful and service orientated staff at the reception, the whole experience made us enjoy every single minute of our stay. Would repeat for sure next time I visit Istanbul.
I stayed here for a period of four days in December time, as it was my first time in the city I preferred to pick a hotel close to the major landmarks and Hotel Amira was extremely convenient in this respect. Priorities for me when booking a hotel are the customer service first and foremost and this hotel was exceptional with regards to this and this attitude was apparent not from just one or two members but across the whole team. I received a thoroughly warm welcome and my stay was extremely pleasant thanks to the hospitality I received from the staff here and I would like to thank them profusely for this. Although I have absolutely zero experience of boutique hotels, I must say that this was a pleasant change from the the norm for me. The hotel was not extravagant but it was well designed and picturesque, which I suppose is the whole point of the boutique category. The breakfast was good, with various items such as coffee, teas, several types of cheese, yoghurt, honey with the honeycomb which was a nice touch, amongst other things that I forget but it was good enough for a start to the day. The room itself was well decorated, comfortable bed and a decent size. Although the time of year I visited was a little cold and I did notice the room was ever so slightly chilly too but I didn't say anything at reception and I can't fault the staff as they weren't aware of the issue. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking to visit the city for leisure purposes, especially if you are travelling with a partner, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I would have no qualms in recommending this hotel to anybody visiting the city.
