The woman at the front desk was not very friendly and acted like I was an inconvenience. She also closed 3 hours early 1 day and changed the hours on the door.

Very disappointing stay. The resort was overrun with huge mosquitoes (in the pool, playground, rooms, and even in our car). The apartment was just okay — the bathroom was clean, but the kitchen drawers were dirty, the bed squeaky and broken, and there weren’t enough blankets. Maintenance was loudly nailing on the deck right outside our door while my daughter was napping. The playground was dirty with animal droppings, and the nearby water smelled more like a swamp than the ocean. Staff were unfriendly, the front desk closed at 4 p.m., and customer service was poor. Overall, not comfortable or enjoyable.

It was nothing like the website at all. We could not go to the beach at all due to the excessive seaweed, which had the worst odor I have ever smelled. The a/c units were all rusted on the outside of the building. There was no housekeeping. Its the first resort that we've been to that doesn't have complimentary toiletries. Pool towels had to be checked out & you can only have the amount of people staying in the room. Check in is at 4pm & you have exactly 1 hour. After that its too bad, so sad. They make you wait until the next day. Laundry room is way overpriced- $3 per wash, $3 per dry. Thats insane. But I did it anyway because I dont like going home with dirty clothes. The list can go on but there is not enough room. I would not recommend this resort.

The room is extremely deteriorated. As sad that it is old , it is also not cleaned or maintained . It was full of dust in all the electrical outlets. Doors were not even painted when installed. The room odor was tried to be covered with cleaning products but the smell was in the room each time you went in. This could be such a quaint place if you spend in remodeling and upgrading the rooms. It is truly a shame that the reviews were not truthful. This is not and 8.8 hotel ever. This is a motel of 5.0 . I have all the pictures of my findings and am willing to share what I saw.

We had a beautiful view and enough space in the apartment for our group of 5. It was nice that they had kayaks and bikes available but it was hard to actually use them trying to coordinate when staff was there and allowing to have them 2 hours. I just didn’t feel like the front office was there to serve the customers. Not terrible but not great. The smell is petty strong off of the water, not pleasant, but it's a petty view. Loved all of the iguanas and lizards! I won't stay there again but we are grateful for the time we had there.

The resort was nice and well maintained. It could use a little updating but we werent there that much so it fit our needs perfectly. The negatives was a never ending fire alarm chirping in our room even after a battery change and a too soft mattress.
