Our family of 3 stayed 3 nights here. We had the room facing the Inn River, bridge linking to the old town and mountains in the background . Wonderful view ! Room was good size for 3 of us. Breakfast was superb, we always look forward to their breakfast. Receptionist was very helpful , like showing us where to get sim cards and booking a taxi for us when we depart . There is no kettle in the room , so to get hot water , ask the kitchen. This is not a problem however. Hugely recommend this place for its convenience and warmth and breakfast .
This hotel is in one of the painted houses of Innsbruck built in the 1500s! We had a room with a view of the Inn River and it was a beautiful setting. It was just a 5 minute walk over to the old city for shopping, dinner, etc. We used public transportation in Austria and walked from the train station to the hotel. Just about a mile. Not bad and good way to explore old city. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely. Large selection of anything you could want. Receptionists were very kind and thoughtful with excellent English! They even let us leave our bags there overnight after we checked out since we were going to be hiking to an overnight hut. Would heartily recommend and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Innsbruck.
We started from Zell am see around 10 am, reached Watten to see the Swarovski Crystal world, had lunch there ,then reached hi Innsbruck at 3.30 pm. We checked in to room no.32,rested for some time and at 5.30 pm we started our sight seeing. The hotel is so conveniently located,we could see the river Inn and the bridge from our room itself .The hotel just have 31 rooms, but we'll furnished, free WiFi,air conditioning, safe and minibar fridge. The bathroom room was also nice with adequate space and with clean linen and Toiletries. The staff was courteous, well mannered. The only negative point was, that there was no provision of tea coffee in room,it was available at 1st floor. A tea coffee plant was kept with cups and sugar and sachets. So one had to go down physically to get tea/ coffee.Probably this may be rectified. But otherwise nice hotel of pale pink from outside. Once we got out of the hotel,we were at the Innsbrucke, the main bridge on by happen to be in Innsbruck in future.
Friendly receptionist, nice good sized clean room, great view comfy beds and welcomed air conditioning, did still have someone else’s fish in the fridge and coat in the wardrobe but we weren’t staying long enough for it to matter great location would go again.
The rooms are pleasant but very small, and designed so one cannot open a suitcase. At least the double room racing the river is very small, so prices go up for larger room, but you also pay extra for the view which is worth the price. The location is exceptional, as you are literally a walk across the bridge to the part of town that most people come to see, considered the 'old town'. Do your own homework if you come to hike, the staff are not knowledgeable about this, but that is to be expected. Nice breakfast buffet, but no restaurant.
We stayed for one night during our bike tour of the Inn river. The hotel is perfectly situated to explore the Innsbruck old town. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable, not usual for city hotels. They were also quite modern, while the breakfast room has a more traditional design. We were able to lock our bikes just next door in .a special room, very comfortable as well. We would always come back when staying in Innsbruck.
This was an adequately appointed and well located hotel, with one big plus for Innsbruck. Secure off street parking. If you've ever tried to park in the city centre you'll know where I'm coming from. Straight across the bridge to the old town is another plus. Oh, yes....the breakfast. Typical hearty European continental fare that should see you right until mid afternoon. I enjoyed this stay much more than the last property here, just a few metres drown the road and I'd come back.
This is an old hotel, with history dating 1473, but very well kept. The location is superb, overlooking the river and a 10 minute walk from old town. The rooms are air conditioned, which was a relief since Innsbruck was quite warm. Good breakfast, with cut fruits and scrambled eggs! Friendly staff. Overall, an excellent stay!
Fantastic hotel overlooking the river Inn. It’s located in a historical row of old houses in Innsbruck with amazing views of the river, the city of Innsbruck, and the mountains. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you are only a 3 minute walk to the old town. Hotel provides free WiFi, free parking around the corner from the hotel, and free breakfast buffet, which is quite good with all the staples you’d expect, breads, cold cuts, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, tea station, etc...The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel.
Perfect location near the old town. We had a room overlooking the city. The view was breathtaking. Good breakfast, nice staff. My only complaint is no AC, but the hotel provided a fan which helped. The rooms with the best views are on the street, so ear plugs help to sleep well. I can’t recommend this hotel more. It’s fantastic. Parking nearby included.
