I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Mondschein. Besides being conveniently located (a short walk to shopping, dining, museums), the staff is wonderful! Renate and Patrick provided many helpful suggestions about dining options, things to see, etc. They helped make my time in Innsbruck the best it could be. I will be returning to Innsbruck in the near future and will definitely be staying at Hotel Mondschein!
The hotel was nice and cozy, within 2-3 minute walking distance from most downtown places of interest. The AC didn't work in my room but it wasn't a serious problem.

It was like staying n a TI! They knew everything. We took the free skibus, rented skis and had an awesome day. Walk across the bridge and into the Old Town.
Family owned with family hospitality. The staff helped us with dinner recommendations and directions for skiing.

It's really a 3 star best western, standard edition, not more. The garage can be a nightmare to park if you have a long car.
