The room was very clean and we appreciated that. Then the water would not drain in the tub and we call the front desk and the gentleman was very kind and did come in himself and took care of the problem to an extent. He was very polite and helpful. The next morning, as we were leaving, the young woman at the front desk was quite cool and condescending.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Hotel is right next to a grocery store if you need any snacks. The hotel is also a quick 10 minute walk from the town center, we got up early to take one last stroll around town before checking out. Access to the mountain is right across the road.

Wonderful hotel, 10 minutes walk along the river into town and the Nordkette Funicular station is just opposite the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful my stay was perfect. Also there's a Spar supermarket next door for provisions. 100% recommend

Definitely the best stay across our 3 weeks trip across Europe (even better than global brands such as Holiday Inn, Marriot, Best Western Plus and Accor which we also stayed at this trip). I would even go as far as saying that with some up-levelling of the soft product this hotel could even be rated as 5 star instead of 4. Apart from the restful sleep, comfortable rooms and amenities, my partner and I also appreciate that the hotel is a short walk from town and has a decent supermarket just next door!
