The carpet in my room, as well as in the common areas, looked as if it had not been vacuumed in ages. The edges of the carpets in both my room and the common areas literally had a line of filth; the main part of the carpet was so dirty, I did not walk on the floor with bare feet. The clock in my room did not work- it was stuck permanently on 12:00. Also, the tv did not change channels. (I did find out in the morning that this was a common problem since the hotel changed to satellite and would have required the staff to reset the tv in my room.) The carpet in my room was also very worn with chunks of it missing and there were dirty streaks on the walls and ceiling. I did not complain about my room to the night staff as it was late and I just wanted to sleep. On the positive side, the night staff, Audrey, was wonderful. She was sweet, efficient, and dealing with a lot more problems than a person being paid minimum wage should be. The water pressure was also pretty good and the sheets smelled like bleach so I guess they were clean. Finally, this location is not that close to Huntsville. I thought I checked carefully, but this is located a good 15 minutes beyond anything. I was going to pick up my kid from Space Camp and it was not convenient at all. I would never stay in this location again.

The hotel room is small and doesn't come with coffee maker or microwave. I could hear people next door banging on doors and ice machine making ice during the night. It's close to train tracks too, so you'd hear that at night as well. The breakfast selection is small with boiled eggs, pastry, and a pancake maker. For the price, it's a reasonable stay. But I probably won't come back if I'm in the area again.

The hotel was what you would expect for 2.5 stars, the only plus is that the rooms offer good work space

Got in on the 18th around 10:30pm was kind of misled the motel itself was difficult to find it was so far away from the downtown area i was led to believe

Very close to the campus. Restaurants were convienently close by.

We have stayed at this place year after year when we visit the family in Alabama. Very happy to be able to see the same friendly staff time after time.

we are always happy to stay at this place and have become familiar with the staff and the location. Good value too.

It was good economy stay . Staff was friendly and rooms were ready before official check in time . Great selection for breakfast that was included .

We arrived to find a very nice lady to check us in. The room was on the bottom floor, which I was very glad of! Room was clean and neat. We were near eating places and this made it nice for us. All in all, I would stay there again is we were in the area.

we always stay here when we go down to see the family in Alabama. Great breakfast. Nice accommodating staff. They go out of their way to assist the guests.

The hotel was very clean and a very comfortable stay. I didn't want to leave.

The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was continental. The staff friendly. Hotel looked the same as in the picture.

Difficult to find at first but convenient location to my needs. Most of the staff good and helpful. Need to know more about restaurants in area.

~ The hotel amenities .. wifi, continental breakfast etc are good. ~ It is at a good location, easily accessible. ~ Good hotel for a short stay.

clean rooms, hotel is near restaraunts, near interstate and all for a great price.

this hotel stay went pretty well. The room was clean, staff not always available, but I was always able to get what I needed. Price was excellent for 2 nights, I would come back if I were in the again again.

Upon checking in, I was asked to wait while the person behind the counter finished sending an email from her cell phone. I went to inspect the room before getting the bags out the car to find that the room already had people in it! They told me the front desk called said for me to just come back. I was assigned another room after a apology for the confusion.

Very friendly staff. Nice clean room. Outside of town so a little far away from activities.

Our hotel room was very clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. For the money, you can't beat it.

Fairly clean hotel. The beds are comfortable. My only concern is that the carpets in room need to be cleaned. I normally wear white socks while in room and mine ended up gray on the bottom :-(
