There were only two problems! They advertised a pool and I brought my bathing suit. They didn’t say it was outside! The other issue was with that they gave us a king sized bed when we expected two queen beds as we are not a couple. The sofa bed was not acceptable. Breakfast was free, lovely and varied. The biscuits were to die for! Although there wasn’t as much space to eat as in previous hotels, the room was comfortable and sunny! The hall closet was a huge walk in that clothes could also be reached from the bathroom on the other side! We had a lot of clothes and there were enough hangers for them and space. I would return here again!

This is the hotel that my family and I stay when we come to Huntsville. Not sure what happened in the last year but our room. Was really small. How small you ask? Our pull out bed touched our main bed. Seriously, our room was just a touch bigger than a Microtel room. Other issues was that the room door didn't automatically close. If you didn't pull/push hard then there would be a space left which would allow anyone to come in. Came back to a wide open room after housekeeping cleaned up. The breakfast was not very good but I won't complain too much when it doesn't cost anything extra. The saving Grace was Felicia. She was literally everywhere helping out. She is the real MVP

TownePlace is my preferred place to stay because I have 4 children, and I find it very roomy for families. We used our points. This wasn't the cheapest option for us, but we chose it anyway. If we had to make our plans again, we would've chosen a different Marriott. I enjoy the fridge, stove, and tvs! For those who enjoy water pressure- do not stay in this hotel. We were on the 4th floor, and it was barely a trickle. It took several seconds for the shower to even come on. Our experience in this hotel was not what we've come to expect of TownePlace Suites. We stayed Sat-Wed. We asked for an extra set of sheets for the pullout couch. They arrived damp. Obviously, the sheets were taken out of the dryer too early and folded damp. On Monday the housekeeping staff came early to clean our room. We asked her to come back later. Before we left for the day, we notified the front desk that we were leaving, but that we only needed housekeeping to replace the towels. When we got home, it was not done, and it took quite some time to get towels. Perhaps the most disappointing was the breakfast. We've become used to a variety of foods each day. Breakfast was a flat microwaved eggs and sausage. a different breakfast each day. To me this signaled that this particular hotel isn't even trying. Each TownePlace we have visited before had No variety. This is disappoint with multiday stays, which is why one would choose this hotel. We specifically chose this hotel over the Marriott closest to the Space and Rocket center because it offered breakfast. The other had a buffet which was $14 per person- too cost prohibitive for a large family. I would have rather stayed there and just run out for breakfast every day. We ended up eating cereal anyway.

I am a travel agent who recently stayed st this hotel for New Years, and I must say it was a terrible experience for me and my family. The first day the clerk didn’t no what he was even talking about as far as rewards, the second day lady didn’t have breakfast ready for my family til hour after the fact, third day ask for towels for my room and they did not bring them, then my wife went down to find everyone all workers standing around in lobby feet up music playing like it was a party and still didn’t get any towels, will not be returning or recommend to property . Experience was very vey bad and I wanted to leave early actually stayed at my brothers house because I didn’t want my family there no longer. We stayed from dec 29-dec 1.

On my second day there, $1000.00 was stolen from the inside lining of my suitcase which happen to be in the closet with the door closed. This took place after the housekeeper had cleaned my room while I was in the room Dec 16th. I left to spend time with my grandchildren at their home. Came back to my room that evening checked the lining of my suitcase to make sure my money was still there only to discover it was gone. I immediately spoke with the hotel clerk to make her aware of what happened. She then told me she would make the manager aware. She called up to the room to make me aware that her hotel manager would back Monday and then would give a call (how convenient). I saw the hotel staff that next day which was on Dec 17th, most were housekeepers and maintenance staff. I spoke to them and told them that money had been stolen from the lining from my suitcase. One housekeeper responded you should call the police, and I thought to myself, yeah I should have, but would that get me my $1000.00 dollars back? I thought by appealing to them that would get me my money back. That the one who did it might feel bad about it and put that money back where they found it. I know how naive of me to think that someone would want to right their wrong around Christmas time. To take something that does not belong to you is one thing, but to go so far as to go through someone things down to the lining of their suitcase to take something that does not belong to you, is beyond just stealing, that is criminal.

This by far was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived around 11pm and checked in. There was no remote in the room. We called downstairs and the guy at the front desk said he could do nothing about it and he didn't have an extra one. He said he would call us back but never did. The next day while getting dressed another family walked in on us. I was in the room with no clothes on and was mortified. The front desk had rented out our room even though we had paid for 2 nights. I then went to the front desk and they told me they would contact the manager. The manager wasn't available at the time. That night I went back down to talk to someone and the front desk finally got in touch with the manager and he offered comp on one night stay. I was in tears due to embarrassment of having been walked in on and the manager never once apologized. He wouldn't even speak to me. This was the worst experience ever and I would plead that no one stays here. And to top it off we never received a remote for the TV. I wrote to the district manager and never received a reply back

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and courteous. Will definitely return. Desiree was a stand out, she went above and beyond to make my stay here memorable. Thank you for the home away from home. The social hour was great, wings and tacos! Also the complimentary breakfast was very convenient. Gym and laundry amenities were excellent.

We ended up here after leaving Florida. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. The room was clean and breakfast was served every morning. Close to good restaurants. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

Great spot for professionals. Rooms are large and include a large work space. Downstairs has various general areas to meet or work. Sleek, modern design throughout. Comfortable beds, vast closet space and a workable kitchen area. Staff is attentive and informative. Not loud and well managed. Will definitely stay here again. Even have a general large porch to sit out on and enjoy a sunset. Clean, clean, clean. Close to an upscale shopping area with plenty of restaurants.

We had a reservation for a 2 bedroom for weeks to bring out kids to Space Camp. After 12 hour drive, we arrived to find out our reservation was not honored. They had 2 separate rooms that would be available that are not next to each other. They gave our confirmed room to someone else. We arrived at 7:00 and even had late arrival. We specifically booked here to have 1 room with 2 bedrooms. Will be contacting the corporate offices on Monday. Will never book at this hotel again.
