Stayed for two nights, staff was excellent, room was clean. A+. I would stay again....

For us to go hang out in downtown Houston, the location of this hotel is good enough if you have a car. For first impressions, a negative would be a smell we detected as we walked in, I've noticed a room near the lobby seemed to had a water damage of some sort. Other than that we had a good stay, the room was comfortable and the service was good, including free breakfast. The other negative thing, and this is NOT THE HOTEL'S FAULT, someone in the room next to ours woke us up on Sunday at 5:30 am with his very loud prayer, we were seconds away from calling the front desk do to something about it.

The staff could not have been better. The check-in and check-out persons were excellent. The cleaning people were friendly and responsive. The room was clean. The appliances all worked well. The shower handle came off but was still useable when replaced. We reported it when we left and it was noted for fix by the clerk. The walls are a bit thin, could hear the person next door late at night talking, then snoring. A full grown man was at breakfast in his pajama bottoms and the tee shirt he slept in. Getting dressed for breakfast did not appear to be a priority by some others.

Overall good value for money. The bed was too hard, made it uncomfortable, and no hot water in the bathroom sink. The shower faucet was hard to turn on. We were kicked out of the internet a couple of times...

My wife and I were in Houston because she is a patient at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The selection of the Mainstay Suites was based on: location. reviews and price. We weere very pleased with everything including the shuttle service. Clean inside of the facility in general as well as spacious parking and well kept grounds. Generally friendly accomodating staff. Will definitely plan to stay there again(depending on the rates at the time).

The hotel met my expectations. The only problem was waiting to check in so long

staff needs better attitude. They were helpful but in an way that is not desirable. Also, i think that the lighting in the room needs to be better

Good value, clean hotel and very friendly staff. Parking lot has cameras and is safe but after dark don't venture out is my advice. Especially if you are a female traveling alone. I would stay there again for the value. Rooms with little kitchen is awesome, had I been there more then one night I would have really enjoyed that feature.

Had a quick trip to Houston and needed a hotel that is close to the medical center - Location is not great, if you just go west on the same street, the area is much nicer with a lot of hotels over there - I didn't like the crowd in the hotel and over all they were very loud through out my stay - Front desk: initially were confused about my reservation and whether it was paid or not, the room key was good for one day and I had to go back and get it reprogrammed to work again for the next day. - For some reason they make photo copies of your license and credit card, even though they swipe the card into their computer, and their reply was that this is how they're used to do it. I can only see future fraud with this.

The Hotel was nice for a value hotel. It was very clean and the staff were upbeat and very accommodating and informative. Breakfast was very good. There was one problem....Outside Noise. I was awakened at 2 AM by some type of hydrolic lift, then again during the night by outside traffic.

This is the ideal location for business at Medical center area or museum district area. The staff is really helpful and friendly, and the rate is simply amazing. The amenities are many and everything is just perfect. They are doing a great job. I really recommend this hotel. AE

Hotel is clean and friendly. Rooms a nice size. Nice trip.

All rooms are suites. It is close to MD Anderson which is why we picked it, and there is an hourly shuttle. There were a number of annoying problems however: The couch was worn and stained. The bathroom faucet handle was not functioning well and actually fell off once. Smells and noises from the next room were noticeable. Housekeeping failed to provide new washcloths one day. The TV made a high-pitched noise and no maintenance person came to check it as promised. The breakfast was only fair. Bed sheets were a little thin and one was stained with some gray spots. It was clean throughout however. The lobby and dining area were pleasant. Parking was good.

Location and pricing were very good!!! The entrance to the hotel was bit tricky but everything else was very good.

The hotel is very close to the medical center which is a great bonus. The staff is exceptional and the suites very nice. Out you're looking for a great hotel that is perfectly located for your hospital visit this is the place. The hotel when has a van that runs to the medical center on the hour. The price and location is perfect.

This was a convenient location to the medical center. The room and amenities were exceptional. The staff was friendly and professional. This was a much better experience than I have had at other hotels.

People were helpful. Liked shuttle to airport. Good breakfast! Rooms clean and well furnished.

Very nice and clean hotel . Comfortable and very clean room .. I will book again in this place .. Good location . Good free breakfast !!

The suite with the little kitchen and the fold-out couch was a fun change for the kids, who enjoyed it all. The selection of DVDs in the lobby was a great surprise and we watched a movie and made popcorn before bed. The pool was nice and virtually unused, so we had it to ourselves. The location was right at the edge of the Texas Medical Center corridor, close to the Museum District, and very near Six Flags and a lot of great restaurants on the 610 Loop. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making this a great stop on our tour of Texas.

We loved the breakfast. U wil not find a hotel in medical center who gives shuttle to airport. I would recommend that shuttle shud run more frequently in morning
