This is a beautiful hotel from different views. Excellent rooms, full feature, smart lights etc...Lobby bar and Breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurant are both great. Bar is really good, service is great. But when it comes to the cleanness, unfortunately it is not. Both rooms and public areas are very dirty even after they cleaned!

Beautiful hotel by a marina. We had a great water view, everything was comfortable and immaculate. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs. We go out of our way to stay here whenever we are traveling through the area. Looking forward to our next visit.

Diamond in the Rough

The rooms were clean, staff was great and they even let us check in after midnight (just call them and ask for a late check in that day) when we arrived driving in from Kansas. Dont let the surroundings fool you, this hotel is a diamond in the rough! I 100% recommend and will stay again when we come down for our next cruise!

We were in the vicinity for a round of eldercare which instantly transformed into making funeral arrangements, and rounding up family from hither and yon. We needed a peaceful, quiet space at night, for many days, and we found it at the Baytown Hyatt. We had a view of Tabb's Bay, with sunset shadows when we were lucky enough to get to our room prior. The staff were great, and everyday the room was freshened up,a 100% A+ effort, considering I myself can be such a slob. Although we didn't get to try the swimming pool, it looked clean & inviting. We did use the concierge, which was most convenient, especially when we needed something we didn't have. Although we didn't have time to dine on site, nor to sit at the bar, it all looked pretty luxurious. Well worth the stay, I'll tell you that!

They have 24 hours security and he stays moving around on a bike. Perfect safe place to catch a nap and not worry about car being broken into.

Clean and comfortable

Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Took one star off because no microwave in room, walls are thin and I could hear surrounding rooms at and after midnight. Loud.Also, I paid for a room with a view and the windows are cloudy and I could not see the view through the window. And last, the music that this hotel keeps on round the clock in lobby and outside is loud, and having coffee outside while watching the sunrise could have been more peaceful. Side note: this hotel chain does not offer a Gideon’s Bible, a sad departure from this important offering in hotels for many years. Overall a nice place to stay.
