The room was very cozy and comfortable. The staff at the kiosk and the valets are very helpful. Parking is available for $25 for one come-and-go (that is, once parked you stay parked unless you want to pay another fee) in nearby public parking garages not associated with the hotel. There is NO street parking available. I suspect most people use the valet ($34/ night plus tips). Hotel is pet friendly, but we didn’t see any pets. It is convenient to quite a few restaurants as well as the train line.

Make sure you understand the reason you stay here, conveniently located in heart of downtown. 5 blocks from ball park, reason i stayed. In all honesty, all i used it for was sleep. But know that if you are claustrophobic this may not be the place. Room is tiny! Room is clean and bed is comfortable, hot water and a/c worked fine. I only gave it a 3 for the size of the room and the restaurant "manager" . Instead of good morning, he started saying he was too tired, coffee was real bad, to say the least, had to ask him 3 times to bring silverware, I ended up stirring the coffee with knife cause he never brought a spoon and bashed the new guy, according to him because he didn't know what he was doing. Truly, the new guy did awesome! Couldn't get his name cause manager told him not to serve even though our table was me, wife and son, not a large group. And last but not least, I found it super odd that when I paid the tab, ($42 and some change), he pulled his wallet from back pocket, said he didn't have any coins so he was going to round it up to $43 and gave me the change from his wallet. Maybe not a big deal but never seen this in my 49 years.

We always stay here when in Houston. Perfect location downtown, walking distance to the stadium and good drinks/eats. The staff is always nice and helpful. Never an issue with noise or cleanliness.

Great downtown Houston location!!!

Location

Overall the hotel was very pleasant. Only negative is that the Valet staff can be very rude and unpleasant. They removed the paper that they attach to your keys and proceeded to blame me for losing it so we ended up skipping valet and parking in a public lot the next night to avoid dealing with them. Other than that Club Quarters is a great hotel located right in downtown Houston.

Need tubs and upgraded rooms

The location

The location is great right off the Main Street Mall there. Also, the valets in the staff were very good to work with. For a non-smoking hotel, I smelled marijuana non-stop on the second floor.

During my stay there was no restaurant available for breakfast or dinner, I will say this was a big inconvenience but I understand because of Covid. What I didn’t like about this hotel is that it doesn’t have any parking. I has to park offsite and when walking across the street I have to deal with all the homeless the city has.

They do not have valet, you have to park I. The nearest parking garage and pay each day.
