It was my third time to visit Honolulu but the worst hotel I've never experienced. The staffs especially the young ladies at front desk even don't talk to me and also my friends by seeing our faces. No smiles, rude responses, not helpful. They have to learn how to treat visitors from all over the world to visit the beautiful island.

It took 2 calls to guest services to get additional towels to the room and they brought us a kettle instead late at night after i arrived from a later flight...they also seemed understaffed overall but property was clean and amenities seemed good - good walking distance/location to Waikiki

The Wayfinder Waikiki is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Waikiki - the restaurant, room, people and tropical vintage Hawaii vibe is so cool! We did not enjoy our time here. We stayed several nights based on the good reviews but found it lacking. The staff were unfriendly or just bored and indifferent. The road noise is intense and you hear the neighbors opening and closing their sliding doors making sleep hard. The place is in generally shabby shape with warped linoleum and a broken elevator. The cleaners did not clean our room so we had a sandy room with wet towels. There was no flexibility at all in the check-in, check-out times. It is farther than other hotels from the beach. I chose this one based on good reviews, but I regretted that. I could have chosen a similarly priced place closer to the beach. I will do that next time.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I chose Wayfinder base on good reviews and found it very lacking. Even my kids said to leave a bad review so other people can make a good judgement. The ladies at the desk were apathetic bordering on rude. The room was very small and had so much street noise. The cleaners did not come which left us with sandy room and wet towels. Overall, I felt we had overpaid for a very basic motel far from the beach. I would have booked a closer place for the same rate but thought from reviews that this would be more warm and friendly. Lesson learned.
