As an unexpected opportunity had arisen, I booked at the last minute, and this was a last resort. The bed was fine. The room was quite outdated, not good value at all. The entrance door jammed on the carpet, and was TRULY difficult to manoeuvre. Would be dangerous in an emergency. There was one window in the entire unit, on the wall at the opposite end of the unit, to the entrance. There was no working USB port. Overall a dark dismal environment.

Great location. Easy walk to everything important. Access is a little weird, you access the elevator through the carpark? But otherwise the rooms are big and spacious. Staff were wonderful.

We had a great time staying here. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a fantastic location. We could walk everywhere with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Would definitely recommend and stay here again next time we visit Hobart.

The stay was good and their facilities were very good. The only drawback is the limited parking. It made the stay a bit stressful and was a distraction as I had to go out every two hours to change parking

The staff were excellent, particularly at Reception who gave me good advice regarding shopping. It was central to most of what I wanted to do. I had all that I required for my stay. I loved the hot shower & the toiletries smelled beautiful. I would definitely stay at Mantra One Sandy Bay Road again.

This property was amazing!! Couldn’t believe how big the apartment was, incredible. Location was fantastic, 5min walk to Salamanca. The staff were awesome, friendly and helpful especially Colleen and Sanita. Can’t wait to be back!!

Spacious room in great location

We stayed in a studio apartment for 4 nights. It was very spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. There was a washer / dryer, which was handy as our stay was part of a longer trip. Parking was available onsite. The location was walkable to Salamanca Place, the harbour and the city centre. Despite it being at a major intersection, it was relatively quiet and the beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful.

Worth every dollar

This is an amazing apartment that is suitable for a longer stay. We were phoned 24 hours before to double check all our details, including the parking we had requested. If you are driving in and out of Hobart, it is worth paying for the parking at the hotel as there is very little parking available close by. The parking spaces are a little tight if you have a very large vehicle. But the team were amazing and the room was so clean. When we ran out of supplies they happily replenished. Please note they do not do housekeeping unless you stay 7 days. It is perfectly placed to walk all over Hobart if you are without a vehicle as well. Just be sure to know the driveway is less than 100m from the intersection of Davey Rd. Enjoyed it immensely!
