Upon check in they didn’t tell us that breakfast was in the Mr Good restaurant. The compendium which was online only, said that restaurant was only open for lunch and dinner. No mention of where breakfast is. So we went out for breakfast each day.

Room was clean and hotel is in a good location. Staff was nice but not very helpful. When asked about Mount Wellington for sunrise, I was told it was a 15 minute drive by two different staff members. It’s more of a 30-40 minute drive to the pinnacle. the hotels $25 on site parking was full and not available so I was directed to park in another lot for $17 a day, but then was told that it’s not manned 24 hours and wouldn’t be able to get car before 7am. This was after the discussion about Mount Wellington sunrise which obviously wouldn’t work. The front desk attendant seemed confused why this was a problem- duh the sun rises at 630 and after I explained this to him and I needed to ask what my alternatives were he told me that I could find parking on the street which didn’t cost me anything.
