I'm a frequent traveller, and I often stay in rental homes instead of hotels. The good things about this listing is that the location is good (walk to the beach) and it was clean. I learned a lot from this stay. Most of the homes I've visited offer some small (but meaningful) perks to make guests feel welcome. (For example, the place I stayed just after this had coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, olive oil, a set of every type of phone charger next to the bed, a little basket of toiletries in case you forget something.) I can't express how important these details are. Other places, including this one, offer what's listed. Now I know. I take responsibility for expecting too much. I expect to be able to make coffee on the first morning I'm there. But, there were no coffee filters. Even though I brought my own coffee, I had no way to make it. I asked, and was told that they are not provided. Again, they are not listed and I should not have expected them. OK, so then every guest who uses the coffee maker must buy a package. Those usually contain hundreds of filters. And then they must be removed from the unit every time? I'm so confused. Since we're near the beach, I assumed there would be beach chairs and maybe even an umbrella to borrow. Again, my mistake. I asked to leave after the first night, but there would have been zero refund, so I decided to stay. Overall, the place was depressing and seemed neglected. I would not stay there again.
