First, the staff are incredible, but it became obvious that they were working around chronic maintenance and general dour appearance of the rooms. They are installing new siding on the building but that's lipstick on a pig. I don't stay outside the building, I stay in the room. The TV was built in 2009, it is old enough to get a driver's license. The lighting is abysmal and the color decor depressing. I have chosen LQ from its inception and used to really enjoy the properties. And in today's hospitality market, value counts but sign up the rooms for a facelift and upgrade the TVs & heating & cooling. Thanks!

The property was easy to find and access from the highway and interstate. Check in went well with a nice staff member. Near restaurants and coffee shops and stores. Our room was clean and neat enough. The hallway, however was a disaster. There was trash and piles of linen/towels knee deep the length of the hallway. Looked like the days of hot sheeting in the oilfield. We found people hanging out/sleeping in their cars in the parking lot (for hours in the dark) and a group of guys smoking pot openly in the lot so you couldn’t avoid being exposed to it/them.

Avoid while under construction!!

The property was under construction. My kids wet heart broken that they could not use the pool. Construction started at 8 am everyday, even weekends disrupting sleep. Other guests had barking dogs and were slamming doors which woke us repeatedly. The in room refrigerator was incredibly loud, it sounded like the compressor was failing and disrupted my kids sleep. The blinds did not come even closer to blacking out the room. The pillows were all excessively firm. There was chipping and peeling paint in the bathroom. There was too much deferred maintenance to list. The staff member in charge of stocking breakfast items didn’t know what gluten-free meant, we were disappointed there were zero GF bread items offered. The line for checking in was long and slow. The staff seemed tired and overwhelmed from negative guest experiences.

The room was good but the bathroom had mold on the ceiling above the shower head. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was inadequate for the bathroom that’s why I think there was mold. Would have tried to switch rooms but too tired.

DONT STAY HERE. Paying nearly 500 dollars for two nights at this hotel is a joke. The room was disgusting with hair and crumbs on the floor and no clear pet fee info on Expedia. Pet areas were unmaintained. The bathroom was filthy with black spots and smudges on the mirror, and the broken shower faucet made noise all night and doesn’t stay attached. They can’t even clean a toilet properly. No body wash or hand soap, just one bar of soap for everyone. They installed a new vanity top but used an old faucet from the 90s. The dim lighting made it impossible to see. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The AC was also making odd noises and kept me awake. Early in the morning alarms from empty rooms blared for almost an hour. The small pool was mostly closed for construction. The breakfast was the cheapest, most basic options. This place is barely a rundown motel and not worth the price at all.
