Aparthotel Adagio access La Défense Léonard de Vinci0.0 out of 5.0

The room was clean but somewhat care worn. The disappointment was the kitchenette facilities: a cubbie hole with a sink and twin ceramic hob plates crammed side by side. A coffee maker that had to sit on the integral draining board for lack of space. Neither hob plates functioned - they warmed up to a comfortable hand temperature! No cork screw and not enough cutlery for 4 persons - lucky that we were only 2. There was a microwave with grill facility but never used that. The fridge offered adequate storage and worked well. Washing up liquid and tea was provided. However, the room description said that there would be kitchen essentials sure as salt and pepper - there wasn't. I had never stayed in the La Defense area before, this was a late booking and I took what was available. I will never stay in the area again - not too far out using the RER but little in the way of restaurants and eateries or anything else (I am talking about the local area and not the esplanade). I given it an average for value as it was inexpensive for Paris but I would not recommend either La Defense or this particular Adagio. This does not put me off Adagio as there are better quality aparthotels through out Paris.
It's a ~60EUR priced hotel in Paris! So don't expect a croissant served mid-night by Marion Cotillard while looking at flashing Eiffel Tower! The main advantage of the hotel is its location! Few footsteps away from MonoPrix (which is open on Sunday mornings too) and a couple more from La Defense (with Auchan and 4 Temps) and the tramway - it is very practical to reach any part of the city within minutes. The room I stayed (for 3 months) in was small but with all amenities. There was a persistent smell across the hallways due to some guests constantly frying onions, but it went away when the guests were gone. Hotel staff is very helpful and welcoming. The hotel serves a good breakfast with an absolutely incredible woman serving it (she will make your day every day!). There's a swimming pool cleaned every day (never used it though).
The fan and the fridge were so noisy that I hardly slept. I had to unplug the fridge. In addition, there were no pans to fry anything. Otherwise, wifi speeds are decent enough. For the price, it was overall okay.
I won't stay in another Adagio Access in Paris again. This was the second time and the experience was the same: you pay 150€ for a tiny, old fashioned, furniture-broken, ugly room. Trying to be positive: it is true that all Paris hotels are crazy expensive compared to what you get... It is also true that the hotel is at 5 min walk from La Defense... Finally "some" personel was friendly and efficient... Check other alternatives first!
When I arrived to the hotel, I got the answer, that I can´t be accommodated, becaase the hotel is full. I was very dissapointed, because I choose this hotel for closure possition to konference, where I was participanting. After long disscution the hotel confirmed, that I they will cover all traveling costs (it was rainy, and hotel, where I was relocated is 30 minutes from this one). But I was surprised, that nobody knows about this issue at spare hotel, where I really stay. So I have to manage second issue with traveling cost. I hope, that everything is OK, and hotel made deal together about covering of my traveling costs to conference, and back.
As other reviews have said the hotel is located very close to Paris La Defence and all that offers The hotel itself however is very basic, however it's very difficult to find good value hotels in Paris, the location of this one allows you travel on the metro and sight see at will If your just look for a clean bed and nothing else this is OK, however if your looking for a special experience this is not for you Best point is the location, otherwise dull, bland and lifeless hotel
This hotel is very well located in Paris "La defense" area. I was for my job there, and it is about 5/10 mn by feet from the big arch. Surprisingly there is a swimming pool (but no place to hang your clothes in a box). The rooms are quite big (and quiet) with a fridge, and a little kitchen (there are markets nearby). So it is really possible to cook some fresh food from the area. You also have a TV. The bathroom with WC is little but you have all you need. The bed was very good.
I stay in this aparthotel for a week due a business trip. The room size is ok and the beds are really comfortable. The mais problems is room cleaning. The carpet was full of dirt and also the bathroom. The safe wasn`t working due to battery problems and I ask to repare this in the first day and I check-out without use it. Anyway, the staff helps a lot when I have to check out early and leave my luggage in a safe place. The cost benefits are good as also the localization.
Very small rooms and kitchenette is very basic and found it claustrophobic. i would not visit again very conveniently located from hotels and metro. staff are courteous but not informative enough. pricy for the quality of accommodation
I stayed in this hotel from 13 September to 27 September 2015. I had booked 2 rooms with my friends. We all had same experience. I had terrible experience. Now I am going to tell you one by one. 1) When i checked-in on 13 september, i paid full amount. I asked them about receipt of my payment. Receptionist rejected my request. 2) I went room and found out that lock of bathroom door is broken. Surprisingly lock of both room's bathroom were broken. We told this to receptionist, showed him picture of broken lock. They did not repair till we left. 3) At the time of check-out, we gave us wrong final bill. We have to do follow-up on email to get corrected bill. 4) Email communication is very poor. You have to do lot of follow-up to get your answer. They did not reply you most of the times. Even for advance booking, they do booking on your email, they deduct money from your card but dont send you booking confirmation till you asked them. 5) When i checked-in hotel, i paid for all my breakfast. But in my stay, I didnt consumed all my breakfast. I missed few breakfast. So at the time of check-out, i asked for refund. Receptionist rejected my request saying it is not in our policy. Later i sent an email to their manager. She agreed to refund for breakfast which I did not have & she did refund my money. 6) It took me 15 minutes to find plug to use my electronics devices. See photo :) 7) Metro station is 1Km from this hotel, but advantage is all sightseeing of Paris is just 20-30 minutes away.
