We stayed during a down time in January. The inn was most accomodating...warm and cozy. It was still decorated for Christmas which added to the ambiance. The staff was very welcoming - Glen went over and above to assist us and provide us with information. Sheryl was also very friendly giving us a nice little send-off when we left. Room and bed was comfortable and the town was charming. Will recommend!

I chose this spot over a conventional hotel for a 1 night business trip. I fully enjoyed the experience and I appreciated that it kept old technology. What I mean by that, it reminded me of the nineties and it transported me to another time and I want to go back to enjoy it again. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great sanctuary.

The inn was so well maintained and preserved, modern necessity updates but kept all of the charm! Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, spacious room. The restaurant was fantastic as well. We had the short rib and rosemary chicken. Took our night caps up to our room. Shower was good too, water pressure and all. Easy parking, Complimentary water and wine in the lobby. No complaints at all. Would definitely return again!

The staff were awesome! Super friendly and helpful. Clean room with classic feel. Small bathroom, to be expected in a 200+ year old house. Breakfast included 2 or 3 homemade breads. Very satisfied!

We stayed in room 403. The room was huge but everything needed to be refurbished. The bed was very uncomfortable. Even though there was some kind of topper it was hard and the mattress itself was old and we could feel where the springs were. The room is partially below ground level and all night long two noisy humidifiers had to run. We could have turned them off but we were worried that mildew and mold may also affect us. The bathroom had had partial upgrades but the tub is old. Also, the toilet is the shortest toilet I have ever seen. I can’t imagine someone with mobility issues would be able to get up. There was a sofa in the room that had very obvious food stains on it. The breakfast was not what I thought. It was a continental cold breakfast much like a holiday inn type. While you could get your food in a lovely room with a fireplace, if you wanted a table, you had to go to a smaller room with 6 tables that didn’t have much charm at all. Overall, it was a disappointment and I’m glad we only had to stay one night.
