They placed us in the motel section of the property, which was outdated but clean. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend staying for dinner if you can.

We were recently at this hotel with a large group. We had a wonderful time. The room had beautiful high ceilings and it had a lot of charm. I loved that the bathroom had its own sink and then there was another sink located outside of the actual bathroom. We also really love the large refrigerator, spacious room, and comfy bed. If I was ever in this area again, I would used to stay here, but know that the air conditioning doesn’t get as cold as I like it, which is pretty cold.

The staff was very nice and there were some nice features like 24/7 coffee & tea and cookies. Complimentary breakfast was not very good. And maintenance was under par--our bathroom fan, which came on every time we turned on the light, sounded like a fog horn. The handles were missing from one of the dresser drawers, making the drawer unusable. We put in a maintenance request but no one was available on the weekends to make repairs.

Be careful of whether you are booking the main hotel or the motel that is by the property. We were placed in the motel unknowingly. Expedia reimbursed us fully.

Lovely hotel but misses in a few areas

Check in was ok, but we found that the bed was very firm - uncomfortable on your side ok on your back. The bathroom fan was very noisy, the WiFi didn't work. Breakfast was awful:the scrambled eggs were almost hard, the sausage barely warm, the bacon cold. The lone guy running it was on his phone and barely could look up to say sit anywhere. When he engaged, he was friendly enough.

This is a large property with comfortable amenities at a good price. The free breakfast is standard fare, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, and potatoes with the choice of breads for toast. They also offer some breakfast cereals and Chobani yogurt. The outdoor pool was wonderful, situated next to a grove of tall trees.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Room in old building on second floor had severely cracked concrete walkway outside with exposed rebar. Metal outdoor stairs to second floor were very rusty and needed painting. Changed to larger room in upper building. Both rooms very musty. Need fan in bathroom for humidity.
