The manager at this location is friendly and does a good job. The hotel is older but they do a good job of making sure the room has everything you need. The bed was older but the blankets and pillows made it pretty comfortable. I was shocked and impressed. The motel is in a good location where it is easy to get back on the highway.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the Scottish Inns & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey North, and I’m beyond disappointed both with the hotel and with Expedia. First and foremost, I was overcharged. My hotel invoice clearly states I paid $136.78, yet Expedia charged me $170.99. That’s a difference of over $34 for no justifiable reason. This is unacceptable, and I expect a full refund of the overcharge immediately. Worse than the billing issue was the condition of the room. When we arrived, the room had a strong, foul odor that made it uncomfortable to even stay inside. The sheets had visible hair in them, which clearly indicates they had not been changed or cleaned. To top it off, there was trash left in the trashcan—again, a clear sign that housekeeping had not done their job. This is not just a matter of inconvenience; it’s a health and hygiene issue, and the room should never have been rented out in that condition. It’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. I booked through Expedia expecting a minimum standard of quality. Instead, I feel like I was scammed—overcharged and placed in a filthy, unsanitary room. I strongly advise others to avoid this property, and I expect Expedia to make this right by issuing a refund.

Great Place

Stay was good. It is nothing fancy but was clean and staff was very friendly. What I paid for 3 nights was less than most places are charging for 1 night. Drive to Hershey park was easy.

It was not the best accommodations. Bed was uncomfortable, room still had food in the fridge, half empty water bottles on top of the fridge, a/c face plate fell off when i got into room. Toothpaste box in toilet and room was only cleaned once, after my request, but is posted to be cleaned every 3 days. Staff males were more friendly and accommodating than females. I was told that the facility was recently purchased and hastily opened. I hope there is improvement in the service in the very near future
