Don’t stay here. It’s terrible. Beds are terrible, room is shabby, there wasn’t even any toilet paper in the bathroom and when we tried to call to ask for some the phone didn’t even work! Worst hotel we ever stayed in!

All in all it was OK. Except for the beds. Or one they are too high for a lot of people to comfortably get on and off. The mattress was not very comfortable. But worst was the pillows. They were so big and full that it was impossible to sleep all night. I called to see about getting flatter, softer, more cushiony pillows and they said this was the only type they had throughout the entire hotel. We would likely stay there again when we are in downtown Harrisburg but the pillows are a dealbreaker. Difficult to be alert in business meetings when you can’t get a decent nights sleep because of it.
The room door was virtually inoperable with the key. Staff had to beat the key panel up to activate it then rush to use the key. This process took a minute or so each time, so I gave up on leaving the room after the third time. Room was not very clean. Property features are dated. This is the second or third Crowne Plaza I have stayed at that seems outdated and in need of upgrade/modernization. Other nearby hotels had competitive rates and nicer facilities. Investments in upgrades and repairs are needed.
For a Crown Plaza hotel, it was unexpectedly horrible and dirty. My family and I would never stay here again. Not worth even $50 per night. They didn’t even have towels or soap in the room. It was dirty. The lobby was dirty. And the staff was unorganized and did not care about anything. It could be nice but it is not kept clean and not managed properly.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, but generally the hotel was a mess, rooms were not thoroughly cleaned, facilities were out of supplies, etc, just poorly managed.

The hotel is outdated. My room every piece of furniture and or door was chipped or needed painted. It look like it wasnt dusted in weeks, and bathroom could have been cleaned better. No ventilation in bathroom looked like mold starting to grow in shower area.

Within walking distance to the Amtrak station. Great location. Short walk to city island. It’s a great place for a weekend getaway!
Bellman was rude - and front desk girl - I had to constantly ask for them to take my bags, I had multiple children and bags. Once he did get my bags he would have the worst attitude as if he did not want to help at all. Then, we arrived for a late check-in, as soon as we get to the room we were notified of a noise complaint. The children were exhausted and quiet - We had just got in the room to take showers and get in bed after a long day of exploring at Hershey Park - the woman who was across from us obviously had put in the noise complaint because she constantly kept opening and slamming the doors - it seemed as if it was a racial issue. From the guest to the bellman - the front desk girl was just seemed completely annoyed with her job.
