We stayed for three nights while attending a family event. Check‑in was quick and easy, and the owner was very polite and helpful, which we really appreciated. Our unit was a good size for two adults and two children, but the layout didn’t suit our family. The two single beds were in the lounge, so once the kids went to sleep, we couldn’t watch TV or move around without risking waking them. Even turning on a light or using the bathroom disturbed them. It would have worked better for the children to have the separate bedroom. The room had a small dining table with only two chairs, one sofa, and a small TV that we needed to move closer. The kitchen and bathroom were dated but usable. There appeared to be some water damage around the bathroom sill and under the sink, and the taps dripped as they didn’t fully turn off. The shower was older but had great pressure, though the hot and cold were reversed. It was quite warm during our stay, and the air‑conditioning unit was located in the bedroom, leaving the rest of the unit very hot, especially at night. The biggest downside wasn’t the motel itself but the surrounding area. There were loud domestic arguments nearby on multiple nights, which woke us and made things feel unsettled. This is obviously outside the owners’ control, but worth noting for families or light sleepers. Overall, we managed fine and appreciated the friendly service.
