Pros: Alexander is a great host. When I got there, the cleaning people had left the wrong key and he had them there in less than 5 minutes. He was very nice about the fact that I had accidentally unplugged the router from the wall when I plugged a charger into the power strip behind the couch and shut off internet for all of the units. The unit is tiny but it served our needs. The living room furniture is super comfy. The beds were good but the first bedroom could use some better pillows. Checkout is super easy.Cons: only 4 bath towels for 3 people and a 4 night stay, only one hand towel, and there were no wash cloths. The toaster only works if you push the button down hard and hold it. We didn’t report it because we were only cooking breakfast one of the mornings we were there. There is only “ample” street parking if you get there during the day. At night, it is a problem. Overall, I would say the best things for us was the host, the location, and the value for the price.

We weren’t able to stay due to the host cancelling the very day our stay was supposed to start. We inform the host that we had a change of plans and would have to add the kids to the reservation, we tried to communicate and change the reservation accordingly but they were completely opposed to working with us despite us even offering more money out of desperation due to not having any other options. However, they canceled the reservation and only gave us HALF of our deposit. We were practically left out on the street with our kids and our in laws already in their flight to come meet us. It was very cruel. Vrbo luckily helped us out by getting us a hotel for a few nights while we figured things out and we ended up having to book another house same day and pay a lot more money that we didn’t have. We are so completely disappointed by the experience that we’ve decided never to use these type of services in the future.

Parking was a big struggle. There is absolutely not ample street parking as the listing states. The pillows were really worn out and thin and it made gettingnq good night sleep difficult. Otherwise the listing was exactly as advertised. Alex is there to help if needed.

We were pleased with our stay. Haledon was a lovely community. The accommodations were good except for some ants in the first bedroom and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms not set for summer. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we were able to find space within a block from the house.

Came for a graduation at Met Life Stadium and a day trip to NYC. House was close to both locations. The house was very clean and exactly as described. Host reached out several times during stay to see how things were going and offered any assistance. Would highly recommend and would stay again if something brings me back to the area.

Great stay!

We were visiting a friend at WPU and this property was very convenient to campus. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and it's close enough to go to NYC for an afternoon. Check-in was simple and communication with Alex was great! The rental was very comfortable, except for the beds. The parking was tight, but I'm not from the city. Overall, would stay here again for the location!
