Our room was fine. It was clean, and bed was comfortable. We used the pool one night, and it was fine too. We did not use the breakfast, so can not comment. The location was good, with easy access to food, and the beach. Getting in to the parking lot is no trouble, but leaving is a little rough being right on the highway, and needing to turn left to go to beach. It is very close to the airport, but in the room, there was no noise from planes. The room was fine, but some of the stuff needs to be fixed or updated. Our sink had released from the counter, so there was a 2 inch drop. It still worked, but looked bad. Parking was fine. The hotel was sold out, but we were easily able to park. They must have much more parking spots than needed. The tv reception was a little funny. Most channels were fine, but some would work for a while, then cut our for no reason, then come back in 10 minutes. Overall, this place is fine, and really a good bargain.

to much noise from closing of doors early in the morning

The beds were not great felt like mattress was sloppy on the edges other than that perfect stay

I was kinda undecided because of some of the reviews that I had read previously. But once we got there and I was able to see everything clearly things were different. We had no problems everything went great and I would definitely consider staying here again!!!

Very clean, small rooms, no fridge, great staff and good location

Yes the confort ubication excellent and very satisfying in everything else

Hotel is not 5 minutes from beach. If you are trying to save money stay here. We were in gulf shores to go to the beach not stay in the room so it served as a decent place to shower and sleep

Great hotel. Super easy to check in, extremely good prices compared to other hotels in the area. Great location. Room was super clean and had extra cold air conditioning. Cute little pool that was clean and a nice break from the beach. Good breakfast. Get there early though because it gets very busy and crowded. Our room was missed by house keeping but we just asked the front desk on our way out for the afternoon and it was taken care of when we got back. We will be back to stay here.

Very clean and a very nice atmosphere.was very happy with the location had a great time

All was fine except the mattress which was very thin and could feel springs.

Hotel reeked of cigarettes and it was filthy. The stench was unbearable and I could not stop my allergies once the mold, dust and dirt hit my nose. People were noisy, but if that had been the only issue I would have been happy. The air in the room did not ever cool the room. FINALLY, I gave up and slept in my car. The 8 chairs for the 80 people trying to eat breakfast was ill-planned and not sanitary either. PAID $25.00 more over the internet than the hotel was charging and people were actually paying with no reservation. This hotel brand used to have a positive connotation to me, but not sure I will ever stay at one again since this one was so disgusting. Sorry, but not an experience I want to EVER repeat.

We had two rooms. The part of our group that stayed in the other room got bit by bed bugs. The hotel has two buildings. We were put on the second floor of the building that doesn't have an elevator! Gee that was fun hauling heavy luggage up and down the STAIRS. This is the ONLY hotel I have ever stayed at that had more than one floor without an elevator. Microtel needs to think about installing at least one because guests could have accidents dragging heaving luggage up and down the stairs. Two in our group had knee trouble and having to climb stairs aggravated their knees.

This hotel was a great fit for our family. Very comfy beds and the room smelled clean. Will definitely stay here again.

When I opened the door to the room I was knocked over by the smoke. Went to the desk to ensure I wasn't going to be charged for violating the policy. Desk offered to bring an air cleaner to the room an set it up when I was going out. Delivered the device, but don't think it did anything. When I got home my wife commented on the smell from the clothes that came out of my suitcase. I was only there two nights.

Loved the location of this hotel. It was in close proximity to the beach, shopping, and other attractions.

This is by far the worst Hotel experience I have ever had the dissatisfaction at staying at. I was taking my girlfriend and her two young daughters to the beach in Gulf Shores. Upon checking in I was greeted by Nick and to his left was the so called manager Andrew. Nick checked me into room #262 and explained the way to get there. Upon opening room #262, my girlfriend accompanied by her two daughters got to see a naked male guest getting out of his shower. All I saw was a man’s rear. He was overly apologetic and embarrassed, but we were in his room. The desk clerk, Nick, in his infinite wisdom had given us someone else’s room key. Ours was supposed to be room #263. The so-called Hotel Manager Andrew offered no consolation except that they could contact O_ _ _ _ z since we didn’t book through them. The housekeeping staff did not change and wash our sheets every night. They simply just made the bed, because one of the girls had gotten strawberry poptart on the sheets and they lazily made the bed back up. The outside of the hotel was very appealing and clean. The rooms were small, cramped. There was no refrigerator or microwave and the tv was one of the large old style. The pool pic was highly distorted because it was a very small pool with no bathroom area in the middle of the lawn, so little kids had no where to use the bathroom, but probably in the pool. To top it off, it was rather embarrassing to explain to a five year old why she couldn’t play with her new gold wrapped balloon she had just found on the side of her bed, labeled as Magnum. This place need an Overhaul and I NEED a REFUND! $631.22

I have only two complaints: the complimentary breakfast wasn't good and the wireless internet signal was very weak. Everything else was fine.

It has been one year cancer free scans!! Leaving doctor office I booked this room for next day. The staff was great. The room was clean. The location was perfect. I would recommend this hotel

Our condo was sold one week before our arrival leaving us high and dry. This was about the only thing left without canceling the trip. It was fine. The beds were fine, it was fairly quiet. It's 3 miles up the beach so it was an easy drive back and forth to things as needed. It's nothing fancy, but we were happy having a place to stay. They have the standard continental free breakfast each morning which is nice. We had no complaints about the place. Would stay again if needed.

Our stay at this hotel was rather average I would say, nothing too special about it to separate it from the rest. After our first night, I guess we had slept in a little too long for the maids because when we got back our room was exactly as we left it. It's a good thing I'm a very clean person. However, the front desk staff were very kind and funny, and the location was great. It was just the right distance to everything we went to.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope that you decide to stay with us again when you return to our city. We did have a problem with DirecTV and it's reception over the weekend. Several calls were placed to customer service. They will be sending a technicianto help us resolve the issue that you mention

Your feedback is greatly appreciated. It is difficult to keep some people from closing the doors of their guest rooms quietly. We make it a point to mention it to people at check-in. I will discuss this with all staff members to see if we can come up with a planto resolve the situation
