I would like to say that the Duty Manager Louis was one of the most helpful members staff I have met recently and went beyond his duty to accommodate my needs. He is an asset to the hotel. The hotel is ideally situated in the town with great restaurants not far and walkable to all shops and pubs.

I was pleased to be given a free upgrade to a bigger room with a walk-in shower on the ground floor. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the Mandolay Hotel are a credit to the establishment, I have stayed here several times and I always find them efficient, friendly and helpful. I didn't eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food or restaurant service.
