Awful experience. H We booked a junior suite overlooking the river which was fine. By the way the reason we stayed there it is because we had dinner engagement nearby. We got back very late. Our plan was to sleep throughout the morning. This was spoiled because in the upper floor they are doing some work. They began hammering at 8:15am. They stopped when called to complain. Obviously we were not able to regain our sleep. Breakfast: the AC in the dinning area is insufficient. I asked if they had problem with it and they answered that they do not. The reason it was so hot it was because the sunlight on the windows!! In other words don’t go this hotel during hot season (Dec thru May). We did not have a second cup of coffee because we were sweeting.
Our stay was excellent! We arrived very late and they were very accommodating in our check in, pick up and even taking care of our luggage while we waited for our flight. Very friendly and courteous staff! Very safe and everyone is knowledgeable. The location is ideal for walking distant to La Perla and other sights. There is a pharmacy right next to the entrance for any needs. Full menu available for room service at any time!! Food was excellent! We travel to Ecuador several times a year this is by far our best hotel and will continue to return to this property.
I liked the views snd cleanliness. I didn’t like so many people for conferences that were hanging out in the lobby to get to elevators and in elevator.

We loved our stays at this hotel! The staff are extremely helpful. Each time we came into town there was someone at the airport to pick us up. We went to the Galapagos & Machu Pichu in bewtween staying here. We were able to leave lugguge here and bring only what we needed on each of our adventure. This place has great food, both downstairs and room service. The showers have excellent water pressure. The location is great. Convienent to the airport and town. Plenty of places to eat as well as a small grocery store. The pool is on the top floor with a great views. We couldn' t recommend this place more highly!
It´s a nice place to walk and visit some city atracctions, safe medernd and colonial area.
I know I was in a Spanish speaking country - but - it would have been nice after a long day of travel to have anything/something available in English on TV. We traveled throughout Ecuador and the Galapagos and could find English speaking TV to unwind with at the end of the day. I assumed since Wyndham is a familiar American brand there would have been at least one channel with English. Picky point I know.
