This was the best experience I have had in a very long time. I felt so valued. The staff was always so helpful and kind.
Very well placed, 20 min walking from the city center, and not far from the airport. If you want silence, you can find it by choosing a room on the riverside. Some points needs improvement: they charge you for the expresso on breakfast (very few hotels are still doing this, and it's a very penalizing idea in terms of image!), the pool is barely 1.10 m deep (even if the displayed depth is 1.5 m), and the service could improve. But the place is clean and safe...and the girls are gorgeous!
The location could not be better. Directly on the malecon . You can walk by restaurants and old town. There is a large police presence there. The male on was super clean and I felt safe. The hotel feels new and modern. The views of the river was gorgeous. Laying in bed you can only see water. I felt like I was on a cruise! New bathroom with nice shower. Free bottled water everyday. The linens felt new as well. I will book a room here on my next trip.
We stayed at the Wyndham with a large group for a retreat. We were treated like royalty. All of our needs were met. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very clean. We enjoyed walks in the evening on the Malacon and felt safe. The airport shuttle was very convenient.
Wyndham Guayaquil Exceeded my expectations. The treatment of guests this above all. From the entrance to the moment in which going on the hotel. Clean, safe, excellent service, delicious food, the staff strives to make you feel at home. Ideal for any type of journey; either business or family. Very romantic but also fun. Excellent!
We stopped in Guayaquil for two nights and a day en route to the Galapagos. The Wyndham proved an ideal choice. It is beautifully situated on the shore of the Guayes river, just north of the city center. There's what amounts to an extension of the Malecon 2000 that leads right to the door of the hotel. The location, as a result, is great for strolling. The hotel sits amongst a set of contemporary structures, but that gives way to an atmospheric old section before you reach the Malecon proper. The hotel itself is not remarkable for architecture or furnishings. The rooms are simple and functional. The public areas are the same. But river views uplift everything, making the space special. The hotel staff were down-the-line great, even though at times the place got very busy. We came away with a very favorable impression of Guayaquil and teh stay here was a big part of that.
Great hotel, airport shuttle collect you from airport and hotel is modern quiet and clean. Staff all fantastic and walking distance to great restaurants. Stayed in the Sonesta on our first stay but would switch out to the Wyndham every time. Nice pool on the roof with great views of city
I really enjoyed my stay, attentive staff , great buffet breakfast with a mix of local and international cuisine
Most everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Only have a couple smaller suggestions: Please cook the breakfast sausages more; 3 days in a row they were pink/red inside. Please clean the black mold from the corner of the ceiling above the jacuzzi, this is a dangerous health hazard. But please note that everything else was absolutely wonderful - especially the service! Can not comment on the value because our trip was paid for by someone else.
The staff at the Wyndham Guayaquil hotel was excellent. They were very courteous and memorized our names within the first day of our stay. The rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our time immensely in part do to the interactions with the staff.
