I could not love this little boutique hotel more. In an area with lots of big chain hotels, it’s a little oasis. The rooms are simple and clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. It’s in zone 10, the Zona Viva, a lively area with lots of restaurants and high-end shopping.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel! I arrived early in the morning (9am) and they offered me early check-in! Free pick up and drop off was a huge plus. I felt extremely safe. Especially with it being my first visit in GC, that piece was important! Hot water (not to be taken for granted in Guatemala!), comfy beds, clean rooms, nice big showers- a wonderful sanctuary with a cute garden area in the center area in the midst of the city and a great first impression of GC. Will definitely stay here again on a future trip. Also, great dinner options. Highly recommend for solo travelers as well as otherwise. Gracias!
Loved this Boutique Hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful. The ladies on reception spoke good English. The room was quite small but spacious enough for two people. The bed was comfy and they gave us other pillows to suit our taste. The room was nicely decorated. The bathroom was spacious and the shower great. Breakfast and coffee was excellent. The WiFi was super fast! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This is a really nice, modern hotel. Cool style. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Free airport shuttle (although the driver was not really friendly). We could store our luggage here while we were for 2 days in Tikal. It's a bit noisy, when other people rattle their luggage down the hall passing your room. The beds were not as hard as in the other hotels on our trip, but still not really comfy. We had 2 rooms. 1 was perfectly fine. The other was smelling for a chemical. I guess they just waxed the floor in that room.
La Hotel Inmaculada is a tucked away little hotel converted from a private residence that has modern, contemporary rooms around a small, verdant courtyard. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, and the contemporary bathrooms are fine with plenty of hot water. There are only two floors, with most rooms on the second floor. Breakfast in the courtyard is pleasant and one of the highlights of the day, because a bellman/waiter prepares coffee exactly as you like, using artisanal beans from the best coffee farms in the country. Breakfast comes as part of the room cost, and you can ask for eggs any style that comes with beans, fruit and a meat, if you like. The restaurant also serves reasonably priced meals for lunch and dinner. The beds are very comfortable and you can get a room with a king-size bed or two twins that are queen sized. The location of the hotel couldn't be better as it is located two blocks from Oakland Mall with all the restaurants and shops in that place as well good restaurants near it. In the other direction is the Zona Viva, about 3-4 blocks away and all the restaurants of that area, which is close to the Westin Hotel. The Centro Comercial Los Proceres (basically another mall-like shopping center with 4 floors, including a McDonalds, and across the street from the Vesuvio Pizza restaurant with its delicious and iconic meter long pizzas) is also about 4 blocks away with its food court, shops, movie theater, etc. The La Inmaculada also offers free shuttle service to and from the airport.
We very disappointed with this hotel as it had such good reviews. We were shown to our room, which had the smallest bed we had every seen in any hotel and the room was tiny. After much discussion with the reception staff we were given a twin room which was much larger and a lot more comfortable for two people. We had dinner at the hotel which was ok but nothing special. Breakfast was ok in the morning. The coffee that we had heard so much about was rather disappointing and nothing special and the menu that we had completed to make our choice was no where to be seen at breakfast time! We found the reception staff to be rather unfriendly and stand offish, other staff were very friendly though, particularly the waiters in the restaurant.
Ms Jannie in reception. Excellant at job friendly efficient english perfect, checked airlines. . Insured shuttle on time. Helped with dining. Got my coffee early. Just excellant employee and person made stay superb. Suites are always excellant. Well done to A team Inmaculada
This beautifully designed space has everything you need for a place to stay in the city. Green space outside my window, great bed, bath, closet, working space. Internet is great. The office work space was great--I printed out my documents easily. Coffee delivered in the morning, and the restaurant food was better than popular places within walking distance--even with service fairly late in the evening. Most of all the staff went out of their way to take care of my luggage, my transportation needs--everything with great care and even greater friendliness. I loved the airport transport. I felt at home.
So I recently stayed there for two days. It feels comfy, cosy, clean. The hotel staff are really pleasant and helpful. I was also picked up and taken to the airport (so they have that service). I did appreciate that there was a very comfy bed, an iron and iron board (which is not always the case) as well as a hair dryer. Maybe the one thing I missed having is kettle and coffee but they had complimentary coffee on the house for the two mornings I was there (I could book them at the hour I wanted). Breakfast is pretty good...
Room was a playroom for an infant in size. When I ask if I could see other rooms to move I told no. Morning staff rude and not friendly. Evening staff great people very customer service oriented. Location is good closed to shops and restaurants. I also had a request for parking I was informed no parking is in renovation.
