A nice hotel property within a 5-10 minute walk to El Jardin/Plaza Principal/Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel. We stayed in the two bedroom suite with one bathroom. In the main room is a small kitchen area with a coffee/tea machine, small refrigerator/minibar, and sink. There is a small dining table, living room couch and TV. Both bedrooms are also equipped with wall mounted TVs. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet, sink, and closet area. The areas are separated by glass partitions but you can see through the glass when you're in the shower to the toilet and vice versa. A hair dryer is available, Toiletries, bath robes, and slippers are provided. The towels are nice and fluffy. There is an in-room safe available in the kitchen area. One water bottle per guest was provided daily. Air conditioning and wi-fi are also available in the suite. The hotel restaurant is on an upper level. We had their breakfast buffet one Sunday morning which had hot savory Mexican breakfast options as well as made to order eggs, fresh cut up fruits, muffins, cereals, juices, milk and coffee. We also had their made to order breakfast the next day. There are stairs leading up to our particular unit. There are also stairs and a slight inclined ramp that goes up to the restaurant. There is no elevator available. The property is well maintained and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The property has a parking lot available for guests. The location was great and we enjoyed the Independence Day weekend celebrations -parade, fireworks, music, dancers nearby. A nice hotel to stay at while visiting San Miguel de Allende.
perfect if you want to get around in the city centre room was also very nice nespresso and also have all the amenities in the bath that normally you dont get breakfast fresh made from choices all good too
Couldn't be happier with hotel or staff. It was beautiful and very clean and quiet. Excellent amenities in room. Fantastic bedding. Wonderful daily housekeeping service. Just 3 blocks from Jatdin. Would definitely recommend and will return in fall. Herman was exceptional and was fluent in English. Solved all my transportation and translation needs. Kudos to all the staff. Try it. You will not be disappointed. Pool and spa in centro. Can't ask for much more
This is a hotel with much to offer. It is in the Zona Central located on Hidalgo which joins the Zocolo a few blocks away. It has on premises guest parking and a restaurant. There is an outdoor pool/spa and a generally reliable and fast internet connection usable throughout the property. The TV has both English and Spanish speaking channels. Rooms are spacious and have a refrigerator and a safe. The beds are firm and comfortable. The hotel is steps from the artisan arcade and a short walk from Fabrica Aurora the artisan center. The staff is friendly and the manager is fluent in English and extremely helpful. Rates are reasonable. We will stay the here again.
Great location, close to the main plaza, huge junior suite with safe, fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The bed was like heaven. Could be a bit noisy at night. Ask for a room facing the pool. Need better soundproofing. Be aware if you leave at 6am. No one was at the reception and the front door was locked. We had to make noise to woke up the security guard which was sleeping in the room next to the reception but we did not know Unfortunately, we probably woke up every body.
Came to San Miguel for New Years eve. Started looking for hotels since 7 months before, and no hotel allowed us to bus for only 1 nigth...so, first plus: only hotel in San Miguel that allowed us to book for 1 night only. First impressions: great atenttion since the moment we arrived at the parking lot...yes, parking space! big plus as there are a lot of hotels that do not have a parking. The hotel is ok, nothing super fancy, but clean, big rooms, amazing beds..all you need! Walking distance to the center, which i believe is one of the biggest advantages of this hotels.
This hotel is exactly 3 blocks from the Center of the Town. A very easy walk. It´s biggest pros are the fact that has its own and very ample parking lot, which is free to use, the spacious rooms very well furnished and with AC. We had an excellent time here, everybody was extra friendly and kind, the amenities are also excellent, the room includes breakfast and you can use the jacuzzi but you have to reserve it first. The only con that I can think of is the noise, the closer to the street the noisier it gets.
Only 3 blocks from the downtown area where cathedral is and lots of shops and restaurants all around. Loved our 2 bedroom suite with kitchen...super roomy for 3 of us. The hot tub was perfect to relax in after a long day of horse back riding...loved how we had the option of breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to SM.
The hotel is about 3 blocks from the city center which is the major highlight of the hotel because everything is walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean, they include a nespresso machine, which is quite nice, but other than that its not luxurious at all. I believe that all the rates include breakfast which is comfortable but the menu is quite limited and dining room overlooks the parking lot and you have to climb some horrible stairs to get there, I was 7 months pregnant, not very safe. When we arrived the hotel they gave us a horrible room because it had no windows, when the one in front, same category, with windows was available, they agreed to change us, the new room was better but it's important to mention than many of the rooms are just next to the street, which did not feel very private. They also offered us a room whose door was literally on the street. The reception was right outside the room we stayed in so we could listen to the conversations that took place outside. I once went to see (didn't stay) the same brand hotel in Queretaro and it was much nicer, that was very disappointing. The price we payed wasn't cheap, but it was much cheaper than other hotels in the zone. I would only recommend this hotel if you aren't planning to be in the hotel all day, if you are just looking for a clean and well located hotel in San Miguel.
Old and a bit noisy, not the best hotel in San Miguel. The spa closes very early and the pool is smaller that it looks. Although the location is pretty good and the staff is very nice. If you are looking for a nice hotel to relax this is not the option.
