People were very helpful. When I had an issue, it was taken care of quickly. The rooms were clean. A/C worked fine. Many restaurants nearby. Lunch and dinner were served at a restaurant which was part of the hotel. Charges cannot be made to the room from the meals. I definitely will stay there again.

Not a good experience

Hotel is in great location, but the hotel requires major service, the bathroom floor is weak and there are areas that you can’t step because the wood floor is rooted, TV remotes don’t work, the bathroom faucet is falling apart, and the shower drain does not flow, it floods inches.. No internet service except in the lobby but not in the room.

I liked that it was close to main plaza, it's location was the best thing it, The things I did not like, the room door was barely lockable. the terrace door , you could not even lock, the toilet bowl moved and didn't feel secure, no surface space in bathroom , had to put toilet items on floor, back of toilet, no room service , only spa was a private contractor that would have to go to your room.

This hotel is very nice. Sadly some areas were being remodeled which did disturb us. The rooms are great and I would recommend after checking work is finished. Staff is very nice.

Hacienda de Guadalupe was delightful. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, excellent service was given, and it is so close to everything, so it's easy to walk wherever you want to go in town. Thursday nights are especially fun with the 7:00 pm salsa lessons and dancing following.

NEVER AGAIN

Hotel Guadalupe is a very overpriced hotel for what is has to offer. I would be a good 100$ per day hotel but not in the 300/400 $ rate . Facilities are vary basic , poor lighting everywhere’s, lots of stairs and of different heights so it is dangerous to go up and down in such a poor light. Rooms and furniture are old. Yes they are clean. The restaurant is a joke, it takes at least one hour to get the continental breakfast that is offered with the rate and if you order a second cup of coffee, prepare to pay for it. Overall I woul never had stayed in this hotel if I knew how the service and installations Are. Also you have to pay in full at check in not at check out. At night they close the reception of guest cars at 11, so if you have a late activity, prepare to walk back to the hotel from the parking place 4 blocks away. Rooms are on a second floor without roof, so if it rains, you will get wet going to your room. The only good thing is the location, but you are paying way to much for it

Nice hotel, staff was pleasant, we had asked for an extra suitcase stand so we could keep our luggage above the floor, especially after seeing a brown roach crawling on the floor, but were told we were only allowed two, other then that all was good.

Best centrally located hotel

This is a very attractive hotel in the center of town. It has a good restraurant and bar, and the staff are very accommodating. I spoke Spanish with the staff, so I don't know how they are for English-only. There are english speaking waiters in the restaurant.
