The staff was nothing but nice. The hostess that checked my fiancé and I was nothing but friendly and helpful. We got upgraded for our wait. Room was clean. Only down set was the elevator. We once waited 20minutes waiting for one to come to us.

I had my flight from Atlanta cancelled so was sure I wd not arrive at the hotel to stay and was concerned they might cancel my whole stay, so I called Orbitz and spent 20 minutes on the phone and they had me wait while they contacted the hotel directly; tey said vthat the hotel now knew I wd be delayed, and it wd not be considered a no-show and I wd not be charged for the night. I ended up having to fly out of Atlanta at 1:30am via Mexico City so instead of arriving 4/6 at 10:00pm, arrived on 4/7 at 10:00am, dirty and tired. I asked the receptionist if they had rcvd a call from Orbitz and they denied it, said my room was not ready and if I needed one immediately, it wd cost a $50 a day upgrade. Also they said I was charged for the night I never arrived. I asked how my room cd not be ready if I had aid for it but never slept in it and was really angry so he called a senior receptionist who sorted things out, but I was still charged for the night I missed and was not given any hotel rewards points plus they didn't take my credit card info (even though I offered it), so that when I ordered room service, they had to take my card to reception. Also my phone didn't work and when I asked a maid for help, she called reception instead of room service, but they said they wd pass my food order. After 40 minutes I called room service and they said they never rcvd my order. By this time I was so tired and irritated I had to cancel an important appointment with my mother's bank manager.

Even though there were not too many guests, since I refused to upgrade for 40 dollars a night more, they gave us e room in the corner,no view,n,small.

Room was big and comfortable. Hotel is really clean and close to restaurants and shops.

Limpio, lo recomiendo. Pasamos unas lindas vacaciones. Muy elegante y el servicio de todo el staff exelentisimo

Decent hotel, but not up to I/C standards i've come to expect. Staff were difficult to deal with around valet of a friend's car. Housekeeping failed to replace basic items that were used or consumed each day.

I have stayed several times at this Hotel because of the rooms confort; However, I was very dissapointed with the room this time. Room had very small window and bathroom was very different from other rooms. On top of that I could hear everything happening in other rooms. No privacy at all. I think this kind of Hotel shouldn't have those kind of rooms. It jeopardize captive customers. Very bad experience this time.

We were in Guadalajara taking care of family affairs and the hotel was a welcome oasis after a long day. A beautiful room with modern, stylish furnishings, huge bathroom, large work space and a king size bed. We only ordered food via room service for dinner but became addicted to their vegetarian sandwich. The staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody whether they are in Guadalajara on business or pleasure. I will definitely be staying there on my next annual visit and they are very conveniently located to Plaza del Sol, Expo and my family.

Bien ubicado, personal excelente, habitaciones y baños de muy buena calidad. Si vas con familia para descansar la alberca se encuentra muy mal ubicada y tiene sombra toda la mañana, El fitness center muy básico podría estar mucho mejor. Calidad Intercontinetal.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We went on a business trip to Guadalajara for the Expo Intermoda and this hotel was very good. It is a 15-20min walk to the expo or a 5 min taxi ride for 40 pesos. There are many hotels closer to the expo and in the same category but we couldn't find any because of the short notice. My only comment is that the food, either breakfast or dinner, is ordinary. Could be better. Everything else was perfect.

Nice hotel. Great value. Great food. I would recommend it!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The room was perfectly comfortable and very calming. The staff was very aimable and ready to help with any questions. I would recommend this address to anyone wishing to stay in "La Perla Tapatia".

third time at this hotel, always a great time.will stay there, again

Overall it was a great stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.

My friend and I stayed 4 nights at the Intercontinental hotel and it was great. The room was an upgraded room, very spacious and the bathroom was huge. Even had a place for ladies to put on make up. There were 4 different light setups in room and bathroom. Lights for one person or the other to read, lights for atmosphere...etc...etc..

Very nice hotel with a very well trained staff that really pay attention to detail. Security to the max and you can rest assure that you items in your room are completely safe. Believe me when I say they passed the test! Food was great and they have an awesome spa!

It was my second visit and will eturn, staff is great and very helpful, will return and stay there again..

Great location for this expo area hotel. The staff was very helpful and professional. Room was new and spacious. Will definitely go back.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful with every need.

I arrived at 11 am, which it was too early because check in is at 3 pm. They offered me a different(less expensive) room than what I already paid for but of course there was not going to be a refund for the difference. I declined the offered and told them that I prefered to be back at 3pm. I came back at 3pm and the room was not ready. I had to wait for 1 and 1/2 hours(4:30 pm) for my room to be ready. I paid 150 dollars(not pesos, DOLLARS) for one night. For 150 dollars, I was expecting really big nice room, instead it was a room big enough for one person ( I do not know if I was tricked and was given the wrong room for the price, but I was expecting a nicer, bigger room for the price in Mexico). I said all this because I stayed in El Tapatio hotel and paid 70 dollars a night, the room is three times bigger, about the same quality of room, you are surrounded by trees and swimming pool, away from traffic and quiet. The only problem is that it is away from the main shopping centers. At the Intercontinental, you are surrounded by cars, cars, and more cars. My advice, check for other hotels and the money you save, spend it on shopping.
