My husband went up to the receptionist and ask for availability. They said they had no rooms at the time. I had checked online that they had 5 rooms so I booked online. Magically they had rooms but they couldn't find my reservation so they had me leave my credit card to pay again but a higher rate. Very stressful!!!
Fiesta Inn expo Guadalajara is a good place very good located. The service is very good all employees are ready for make your stay confortable. But this last time I was a guess of 116 room, in where the maintenance of bathroom is so poor and bad finished, of course I let my comment with the girls of front desk when I made the checkout, if you Fiesta Inn manager let maintenance to drop down the hotel will lost its charm
Lovely and efficient place to stay. Hotel staff made you feel special. Bright and very modern. Staff were impeccably dressed. Security was visible and active. Most staff could speak some English. There was a good selection of food at the breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menus have a nice selection.
I was at the hotel for two weeks. A total disaster, service terrible, rooms terrible, dirty, I had to call front desk to have the room clean again. Bugs in the bed a piece of concrete fell from the structure of the building falling next to the pool. Stay away.
The location is great, very near from downtown and restaurant's area. The staf is kind and efficient. Room service is fast, the food is great A modern and comfortable place to stay, at least, for business travel purpose
All the personnel is very friendly and professional. The location of this property is also great, you can walk to great restaurants and shopping. The rooms are also nice and large. The restaurant at the hotel has very good mexican cuisine. The price is very reasonable as well. Strongly recommended to anyone visiting Guadalajara.
Chose this place as I needed to be close the Expo and indeed it is in walking distance. Service at the front desk was impecable as was the bell boy upon arrival. Rooms were more spacious than I expected and with all the amenities required. Unfortunately they have a serious issue with house keeping. The towels were gray (this I know from experience is because they are not using the right chemicals to wash them). I walked barefoot in the room and in less than 30 minutes my feet were black. What was really bad was the restaurant. While the service and speed was good the quality of the food was absolutely lousy. I asked for chicken wings and was served dried refried wings that were unedible. The the citrus salad with goats cheese. The cheese balls were hard and the salad lacking in taste. Was the first and last time I ate there. Upon check out again all was perfect with the front desk. However the bellboy proceeded to ignore us and never helped but the luggage in the car. This was Thursday 28th April at noon.
Like any hotel you check into, the first thing I usually do is unpack. Having done that I proceeded to call my kids who were set up on a different floor, to my amazement, the phone was dead, being a different model than I had ever seen before in these hotels, I thought to myself, "I don't know how to work it!". I went downstairs to report the problem and a few minutes after that someone kindly came around to try to fix the problem. Meanwhile, since it was cool outside, I didn't feel the need to turn on the AC, when I did, the temperature was only in ventilation mode, again, I thought I wasn't knowing how to work it. When the kind repairman came around for the phone, I reported the problem, He nudged something and it was fixed! Wrong! I reported the problem again and they were gracious to offer us a smaller room for the night, we didn't take it for the bother of moving everything! We had already unpacked!! We spent a warm night altogether and woke up a little tired from the bad experience. The next morning my husband went down to see if something had been done, and wouldn't you know it? They had upgraded us to a Jr. suite, next door to our kids!!! That was the best thing about the whole thing! That very same afternoon they also came around with complimentary tequila and peanuts for our bother!! They shouldn't have! But we loved it, I think that was the best part of the beginning of our trip! Thanks FIESTA INN,!
Good hotel at a convienent location. Depending on the room location it can get noisy at nights due to a close night club. No fridge in the room! The rooms could be cleaner but it is by no means bad. Reception staff is very friendly and have a no problem attidude, excellent.
We stayed here since a friend recommended it. Very safe and secure. Front desk folks were very helpful. Good restaurants nearby. You can catch the tourist bus at the mall nearby to go to the old section of the city
