Our guests in Guadalajara paid for one night of our two day stay at this hotel. My credit card was charged for two nights. We tried to clarify the situation but they insisted that was what their system said. To clarify, stayed 2 nights, paid for 3.
The hotel itself was fine. It was the aftermath that was the problem. I left my car keys in the room after check out. I called 1hr after my flight landed in Los Angeles only to be told by a front desk worker he could not handle my problem call back in the morning to speak with another front desk person and the manager. I called the front desk this morning 7 times and my phone call is finally answered. Once answered I am speaking with a manager when the call is just dropped. I call back immediately after and no one answers the front desk phone, which i find very odd as their was someone at the front desk 24hrs each day i was a guest at the hotel. I have called the property over 30 times in less that a 24hr span from 3 different numbers only to have them answer the phone 1 time to and my call magically "dropped". I would have liked to have my keys so they could be mailed to me. I am writing this letter hoping that someone in management sees it and they will respond to my emails, telephone calls, or this message so we can have this situation handled.
I stayed here 10 days on a business trip, since I did not know the city, I choose a hotel near to were I was working and this hotel was well located and it was very affordable. Now that I know the area, I would stay in a hotel in the Andares zone of the city and pay a little bit extra.
I stayed with my family at the hotel because it had an indoor pool and because it was close to where i had to teach a seminar. I will start with the positive PROs - Fantastic pool for little kids. It has a wading area and the pool's temperature hits the sweet spot. - Nearby Applebee's ( 1 minute walk ) delivers to the hotel CONs - Breakfast is supposed to start at 06:30 but never happened in 4 days. Breakfast was set up in intervals and the hot meal ( always eggs ) came last. - Reception desk staff not friendly. When i complained about the timing of the breakast the short answer was "tough break" EXCEPTION: Ernesto was very friendly but the rest of the staff wasn't - NO restaurant service for lunch and dinner. I would stay there again but mostly for the pool.
the hotel is clean and the rooms are big and well organizd. in my room the water flow was not good at all ! the food is ok (no vege) and the WiFi is good. swiming pool is small but ok and so is the gym. All in all, it was all right. .
This premises are nice and have everything you could expect from a Holiday Inn Express. A small but nice inside pool, good wifi, average breakfast included and we had a two bed room which was pretty big and with a big flat tv. Coffee machine in the room and excellent shower and toiletries. Great deal and good parking. Friendly check in as well. I had a very good stay. Parking is free
An upgraded Holiday Inn; rooms are nicely sized and have everything you need for work or leisure. Buffet breakfast is convenient, fast wifi internet makes work a breeze. I would definitively go back to this location.
Great place to stay. George is a great guy and great help. All the people were very polite and helpful. The hotel itself is a little outdated but the people working there make up for it. Good location, couple big malls and eating very close to location
Enjoyed a short stay here when I decided to stay an extra day. The have a decent breakfast, staff was very kind and nice. They have a pool, a bit luke warm so not sure what they were going for. Didnt' like their gym but it was a budget hotel that did the trick.
... means "in and out fast", I would say that this a good hotel. Rooms are fine and clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. But if you stay longer - like me 5 nights for a business trip - you will notice some things. First of all, although the breakfast is OK, there is absolutely no variance in what is served. That is a pity. A few changes every other day would be great - and probably also noticed. And the WiFi is very good. And then - if you like to keep in shape you will experience the fitness room as a small room with 2 treadmills, 2 "laid-back" bicycles and 3 cross-trainers. I used the fitness room 3 times during my stay - I was the only one. Tip #1: Fix the A/C, as it would be stuck at 27 Celsius - with the room temperatur much, much higher. Tip #2: A few weights would be nice. Having said this, I will come back. I might just skip breakfast and use the fitness centre a few blocks away.
