While I was very disappointed with some issues with check-in and surprised that breakfast was not included, this hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. Near many restaurants and lots of shopping. Right off the interstate for travel.
This is my 2nd night of 3 scheduled for this property. Last night, upon check in at 3:30 (check in is at 3:00) where I requested a quiet room, away from ice and vending, I was given a room next to the elevator, directly adjacent to ice and vending. I am a seasoned traveler, and from experience I know that this is NOT a quiet room, even when on the top floor, and asked for another room. The housekeeping cart was right outside the room, so I assumed that they were cleaning that floor. I was given an explanation that there were issues with the housekeeping staff, and that if I waited an hour, would be given a room away from ice and vending as requested. I respectfully went across the street, had late lunch/early dinner, and returned in an hour to find that nothing had changed, and there was no room available other than the one I was originally given. By this point I was exhausted from a long day of travel, and frankly quite disappointed that I was asked to wait, yet noting changed, and just took the room with the intention of changing rooms (or hotels) the next night. In reality, the room was not an noisy as expected, or I was so exhausted it didn't matter. The remote does not have a "sleep" setting, so I left the TV on all night as "white noise". I slept okay, and moved on. When I returned after my business meeting for the day, I had a wonderful experience with Sherry in the dining/bar area. My original dinner order was a steak that was overcooked, bur rectified, and the 2nd attempt was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt like maybe I had given the staff a bad review without having the whole picture. While the restaurant/bar staff was wonderful, the house staff again offered another disappointment. I called to the desk and confirmed that the pool/hot tub would be open, and was told they would be open until 11 pm. I arrived in the pool area just minutes later, at 9:45pm, there were no towels in the area so I went to the front desk and asked for towels, which she agreed to deliver, and then when delivering them, she advised that the pool and hot tub were actually closed (this was the same person I talked to just minutes before who said it was open) due to excessive chemicals -- there were other people, including kids, already in the pool! Again, she offered apologies. I really wanted to like this location, and the staff were certainly nice, but there is a serious management problem. I travel all over the country, and am a preferred guest at pretty much every hotel chain, and this is the worst I have ever been treated. I paid (actually my clients, who reimburse my expenses) a premium price for a below average hotel service. This is NOT what I expected from a Hilton Garden Inn, and I would think twice before booking here.
We will definitely be back to this clean, convenient and welcoming hotel as we travel several times per year through this part of Georgia on our way to Florida. Close to new retail shopping center and restaurants, just off I-75 south of Atlanta.
Had a great experience with the accommodations and the staff was wonderful! We were there for travel baseball and the staff was very tolerant of our 10'yr old boys and their siblings. Second stay here and very pleased both times!! Highly recommended!!
very clean and friendly staff. will stay here again. bar was great and food for dinner was awesome. rooms are very clean and the beds slept great. breakfast was not as good but not a big breakfast eater so I was fine with that. lady at checkout was very helpful and I look foreward to coming back to stay here very soon
Thank you to the front desk and lobby restaurant for making our stay welcoming and relaxing. We will definitely stay again! The room was clean, the pool area was warm and clean. Parking was secure. Conveniently located to the expressway.
Stayed one night after being at the Nascar Race all day all i wanted to do was relax and get some sleep unfortunately i didn't get either one couldn't sleep cause the walls and floor were so thin i could hear the people next door talking till all hours and they were not talking loud also when somebody walked across the floor above me i could hear every step i complained to the front desk just to make a note still no sleep
Moving is always stressful. But having a welcoming and friendly people that are helpful and knowledgeable make the process very easy. I have stayed at many hotels and motels, but Hilton is by far the best.
We try to stay at Hilton Gardens, always had good experiences, Use to stay at Drury Inns until had a bad Experiance there, went to there great breakfast the next Morning and there were 7 or 8 DOGS IN THE EATING AREA. So NO MORE Drury Inn. So Hilton needs to remember it is a lot easier to keep people like myself returning than to get new people to try Hilton!!! So little things like a discount on A great Breakfast would make a difference between Hilton Gardens and a chain like Country Inn , or Marriot,
We were on our way back home from Florida. when we found this hotel and we are glad we did. Excellent service and very friendly service and very clean. Thanks from the great hospitality, and we will defiantly be using The Hilton Gardens again.
