Days Inn Greenville MS2.0 out of 5.0

We stayed at this motel last year and again this month. It is clean and efficient, fairly priced, all that we need. We hope to visit the Delta again this fall and will very likely stay here again.
We had to attend a funeral in Greenville, Mississippi during the Memorial Day weekend. There aren't many options for hotels and they were pretty booked except Days Inn in Greenville. I was hesitant because the nightly rate of around $60 was so economical but we didn't have much choice. Check in was painless...staff was nice and accommodating. We got to the room and OMG! The carpet is filthy. The hotel is run down and I suppose that explains the cheap rate. I was in shock with how un-kept the hotel is and began calling around again just praying there had been a cancellation at another hotel. We checked out after 15 minutes!!! Thank the Lord there was availability across the street at Holiday Inn. I told them at the front desk that the hotel was not acceptable and that my family could not stay there because it's just not clean. They offered another room...NO THANK YOU! It's not just THAT room, sir...but this hotel is not acceptable...so please give me a refund and we'll be on our way. I got the refund and RAN like Forest Gump!!! I won't be returning.
It's a good value and the beds are great for sleeping. Breakfast was awful with only 4 yogurts and food look questionable. Pool was closed and would have been nice since it was so hot.
Clean, friendly and accommodating, affordably priced... Very quiet ...."continental breakfast" seemed lacking, but I did not go there for the breakfast...got a very good night's rest.
The service at this hotel was great, however it went downhill from there. The room was not very nice the sheets were not clean. The water was brown and the shower was cold.
Great experience always with Days-Inn Greenville...I would recommend to all Travelers in the area...!!!
I always stay at this hotel when I visit Greenville, however I did not get the room location requested when I made my reservations and I got the run around when I spoke to the receptionist and guest relations.
Hotel was clean enough, but not worth the $75.00 plus tax for Greenville MS. Bed was okay, but bathroom had been rigged so many times, hotel needs a make over!!!
The customer service was perfect. The waiting area was nice and it didn't take long to check in. Entering the room you could smell the cleanliness and everyone was very polite.
This place needs some updating. The room refrigerator door would not close unless I removed on of the shelves. Either here or the Days Inn in Sikeston, MO the next night had the worst looking bathtub I have ever seen. Most of the interior of the tub looked like it had been stained by chemicals!!!!
