Clean and well maintained hotel which I would stay again. Food for breakfast was adequate, but you ain't getting fat on it. The entire hotel was VERY clean and kept immaculate. Wifi was good and fast.
We got into Grants late at night and found the first hotel we stopped at was full. We were referred to the Quality Inn and were happy to be sent there. The lady at the desk, Sandra, was very sweet and accommodating... The beds were very comfortable, bathroom large and great water pressure and the room was well appointed. Although we were NEVER bothered by it..the train runs behind the hotel. Would definitely stay there again! Ohhh, the pool and hot tub are great😃
I really expected better. I was given Rm 401 for two nights. I climbed the stairs and was appalled by how filthy the carpet was. We're not talking a little dirty we're talking grossly dirty. I went into the room and overall it looked okay. In the morning I used the shower and noticed large amounts of mold in the corners of the tub. Then I noticed a big crack in the shower wall, allowing the water to flow behind it. This is probably the source of the mold. When I came home from work and entered the room it wasn't even touched by house cleaning. I went to the front desk to let them know and the lady behind the desk said "well what do you want me to do about it" I was rather taken back by how rude she was, as I was only asking for the basic service that one should not have to ask for. When I asked if there was a manager available she said" I'll leave here a note". This is not the quality or service one expects for a $100 a night room. For a Quality Inn this is very disappointing as there is little quality in the rooms as well as their personnel.
Driving 85 year old mother from AZ to MN 2:55 AM !!! Smoke alarm battery dies, Very loud chirp every 30 seconds.Moved to different room. New room A/C unit rattled every time compressor started. Shower control will scald you if not careful, no safety stop. Must find middle between burning hot and stone cold to shut water off. No "off" stop. Apple/Orange juice machine has "Orange Drink" and the poorest excuse for orange drink it was! Pale watered down tasteless. Guest Laundry washer with out of order sign. $20 dollar discount was max offered. Have had excellent stays at Comfort Suites,Sleep Inns and Comfort Inns for less money. Will stay in Gallop or Albuquerque next time!
The motel room was AOK . We asked for a certain restaurant & where it located the person at the desk told us way wrong. Then we asked about the breakfast & what kind of milk they served the answer was Whole milk & 2% both milks with the most fat I said why all milk with fat why not have one with fat & one non fat she said she would get that milk in the morning she did. They had very good whole grain bread for toast, but bagels were not whole grain.
I got there later in the evening, usually that is not so good for travelers. But this place gets what business they are in! Sandra was very warm, friendly and kind. She could tell I was tired, so she asked if first floor was fine, Yep! She put me in a very nice larger room. The room was so clean! The decor was sharp and very updated. My room was the first as you enter the rooms hall, but I slept like a baby, there were no noises waking me up. Breakfast was very well stocked, very organized and good variety of choices. Great stay!!!
It would be impossible to say it all in this space. 1st off I did not make a reservation at this hotel. I went on Choice privileges site and booked the comfort Inn only a few blocks away. This is where we always stay. It is a mediocre but acceptable hotel. The web site booked me in the quality Inn instead and I failed to notice it in the confirmation. BTW, 3 other people at breakfast the told us the same thing happened to them. We arrived at the Comfort Inn at 4pm and they had no reservation. We finally figured it our and went to the Quality Inn to cancel thinking we had until 6pm. They refused and said they had a 24 hour policy. Went back to the Comfort Inn and their policy was 6pm. So we were stuck. Went to our room and the entire haal was fill with workers putting on wallpaper (VERY POOR JOB) and carpet. Got to the room and the heater did not work. It was 10 degrees outside. They gave us a different room. The bathtub spout was sticking out of the wall with exposed pipe. Obviously ( I know because I am a builder) the person installed the wrong one. The workmen (actually kids) hung outside our door until we finally left because they were making so much noise laughing and goofing around. The next morning breakfast was late and everything was stone cold including the eggs and sausage. The juice machine did not work, there was no milk for the cereal. The coffee was cold and they ran out. The night guy dressed in a hoody and could care less apparently set it up. There were a half dozen couples there at the time and everyone was angry but the staff was too incompetent to even bother complaining. I'm sure the health department would have had a heyday in that place. It should be shut down!
The Quality Inn in Grants, NM was a good place to stop when driving cross country. The price, with the AAA discount, was good. Breakfast was better than most Quality Inns, but that doesn't make it especially good. It wasn't bad, though. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Not a bad experience.
We were scheduled to stay at the Holiday Inn in Grants, however the hotel had no water. I was able to get a room here within minutes and it all worked out. The pool area was nice, the room was larger than expected. Parking for the RV was a little tight as they seemed fully booked. Good spot, I’d stay at again
The room had microwave and refrigerator but service is poor. Despite signs that available incidental supplies were available. None were at the desk, they said they didn't restock. I woke up hunching in abdominal pain and I was threatened with another day charge if I didn't check out instead of being offered a late check out and I'm a platinum member.
