Place is clean but not deep cleaned , everything is super modest and the breakfast is basically cereal , bread and orange juice and coffee.

Hotel was dirty, food was bad, ridiculous they’re still open smelled like mold.
Stale cigarette smell in room, stained and dirty bedding. Staff was helpful with providing extra bedding.
The Queen Bed was the hardest thing I have slept on in a long time. It was like trying to sleep on a sheet of plywood. I had to see my chiropractor to ease the damage to my back after sleeping there for 2 nights. The Continental breakfast was so poor that the best thing that they had to eat were the red apples. Really, they call it a breakfast. I would have been better off eating my breakfast at a Martins or Krogers Deli, at least I could have had a doughnut with my coffee.
When we arrived to check in the receptionist was on a personal call that took precedence over our check-in. We only had enough towels for one person instead of two. We ran out of toilet paper and were not left with a spare roll. The hotel is in need of maintenance, peeling paint, framed pictures missing glass, really showing a lot of wear and tear. Would not stay there again even though the location of the hotel was perfect for our visit.

Mom and two young teen girls went for a birthday getaway. Hotel is located close enough to Holland and Grand Rapids, so we were able to do activities in both places. Hotel could have been a little cleaner in the room, the common areas were great. The hotel staff was more than friendly. Overall we had a great stay.
It was fine for a cheap hotel doesn't offer much. Trash outside needs to be cleaned up
We were very disappointed with Travel Lodge in Hudsonville Michigan. We stayed there from Thursday until Tuesday and not once was our room cleaned, spruced up or even looked at. Each day we had to ask for towels. We had to ask for toilet paper. When we inquired why our room was not being serviced, we were told it was because they couldn't get the door open. REALLY? We could. Then they said it was because they only had one key to the room. WE booked this room a couple weeks in advance. Why did they give us a room that had these issues. No one really seemed to care. We left the trash in the hall more than once because they would not clean the room. Dirty linen stacked up. Cleanliness is indeed, next to Godliness!!!. And This was certainly NOT a place that I would ever stay again or recommend to anyone I cared about.
Shouldn't advertise breakfast they really don't offer much. Room was outdated but clean. Pool area was nice

Actually, I only stay at this hotel because the pool is adequate for my needs (deep enough) and they have breakfast. Unfortunately, the hotel is having some growing pains and the breakfast was not great. The room was clean if you didn't look closely- but I picked up the phone and the area where there handset rest was grubby. I'll stay there next year if the pool stays open.
