As I write this review I'm in a cafe paying for lunch because my children have lived off chips for last 3 days. I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old and a 12 year old and for children if they don't like pizza or chips please bring food for your kids I brought bits What was not enough. The food for adults isn't that bad like pork chops and steaks etc but for kids it's terrible! And they take your plate before your finished and asked for a spoon to feed my 1 year old and she said 1 minute and never brought it cause they run out of spoons and flys everywhere. My 12 year old went to reception for a card to get in the apartment without my permission they just give her 1 so my partner went to reception to tell them not to give her one again they then offered him one! Other than that the water park is good but salt water and the beach is so close it's nice the room is great with sea view and the entertainment at night be there early less your sat on the floor.

This holiday was suppose to be all inclusive. Emmmm no it's not. You have to pay for drinks after 11pm, 4euros for cocktails, only one barman on the bars. Which is terrible in peak season as we stayed the last week in August. The que was always long. Pay for beach sun beds etc. Hire the tv remote, kettle and hairdryer and WIFI, wifi was free at reception only. The waterpark was more salty than the sea. Only used it twice. For about an hour on both times. My 13 year old daughter was bored, but my 9 year old son enjoyed it. The food was nice plenty to choose from, just not very hot. Again they lack staff in the restaurant, not enough cutlery, our plates wasn't always cleared. It's not a holiday you can walk off the resort unless you get a bus or taxi. The rooms are nice and big with great views. You do get what you pay for. I wouldn't go back. We didn't watch the shows as we couldn't ever get a seat unless we got there at 6pm, but we were still in the pool.

Brilliant Holiday withe the family. Went all inclusive..great selection to chose from .. the facilities and entertainments are superb... die for, as at least the wee one could be switched off a bit and we could have some romantic time too. The only let down is you have to be really patient at the bars as for all inclusive everyone wants to have their drinks and such and only 1 barman was serving around 60-70 people at the same time...they definitely need more staff for the season. But overall experience is incredible.

We are going home today and we have all had a fantastic time !! We was in a family of 2 groups and was placed close together on the 8th floor rooms 826 and 817 maids cleaned every day except Sundays all staff worked very hard food was lovely cooked well and tons of desserts !!! Beach lovely and close by the water park was great plenty of sunbeds please don't listen to negative reviews I was concerned after reading really bad reviews but can honestly say we never had a problem with anything!! You make your holiday your own and go by your own experiences. I'm sad to go home today I would stay here again it was a lovely family holiday !!

I found my holiday was very good, I went on holiday with my partner and my 1 half year old my partner fusy water but they catered for him my baby didn't eat at all (to hot), if I have on thing bad to say is its located I'm the middle off no were once you have see the strip you have seen it all but local area's are not far, night time entertainment was amazing we watched it from our balcony. Your are most definitely guaranteedo the weat her 30-35 degree's while we were there

I was a little sceptical about this hotel after reading the reviews and I really didn’t need to be. We travelled as a family of 12 so between us we had 4 rooms, all were clean and big enough for our needs. We had a family room which had a kitchenette, a living room, bedroom and bathroom with a large balcony and it was lovely, cleaned to a high standard and exactly what we needed. The food was good and there was plenty of choice, different meats on the cooking station ever lunch and dinner time. The bars did get busy especially the pool bar as there was only one person on the whole day but on an evening at the bar where the main entertainment was there was 2 sometimes 3 staff so service was quick. I can imagine in the height of the season it would be a lot busier at both the restaurant and the bars but honestly we never waited for a drink, we never waited for a table, always plenty of plates, cutlery and staff were quick to clear empty plates and glasses. I will point out that the pool bar is self serve for soft drinks and hot drinks. The pool is small for the size of the hotel but it wasn’t an issue as we were not in the height of the season, I would say school holiday time would have been a nightmare but there were plenty of sun beds. I read a few reviews that said the pool was never cleaned but I saw them cleaning the pool most mornings from where our room was. The only issues we had was the lifts seemed to break quite often, we were only on the second floor but we had a pushchair so for ease we’d use the lifts but more often than not we would just carry the pushchair up the stairs. It got a little noisy later in the week but that’s not the hotels fault that’s just rowdy guests who’ve had a bit too much sun and drink so I didn’t let it bother me. The entertainment team at the hotel are great, my 3 year old loved the mini disco every evening and she enjoyed some of the shows if she managed to stay awake. They put a lot of effort into the costumes and the choreography and you can have a sing along. My little girl loved the club song which they did round the pool in the afternoon and at the end of the evening entertainment, it’s rather catchy and so is the dance to it. The staff were all lovely, always pleasant and accommodating. The water park is literally a minute away and there were plenty of sun beds, unless you upgrade it isn’t all inclusive but you really don’t need it to be as the hotel is so close. The water is salt water and it would be much better if it wasn’t but it doesn’t stop you having fun, you just need to remember to close your mouth and hold your nose when you shoot of the slides. For a 3 star hotel I thought it was what it should have been. Like I previously said when it’s the busier part of the season I can see that it would be frustrating to have to wait for tables etc but we didn’t have that experience and if you are not thinking of going in peak times please don’t let it put you off. We all had a great time and I always think a holiday is made by the people you spend it with.

I do not normally write bad reviews and I would like to say that we had a nice time over all. The hotel is very clean the staff are excellent the weather was superb. Maybe it was because we only went for one week instead of our normal two but we just did not 'get' this place. Our rooms (we had two) were connected, great idea and really suited us unfortunately they were completely outdated and desperate for upgrade old fashioned TVs with no English channels (except news) and partial self catering facilities ( we were all inclusive) we were on the 6th Floor (rooms 620/622) lovely views from great balcony unfortunately the lifts were always breaking down which was fun for 1 day but when it is the whole week not a joke. The food was excellent always something to eat could not fault it. Coffee and Tea great as well. Pool bar usually very good service even though it got very busy at times burgers from there nice, hot dogs not so nice. Lovely pool area always clean but spoilt by the towels on bed brigade (even though there were notices up about it) . Also whilst we were there some really noisy attention seeking families who seemed to dominate the best area. Splash park was very good but salt water so our grandchildren not too fussed, it is also in need of some TLC and should be included in all inclusive (1bar area exactly the same as hotel and exactly the same food). Nightly entertainment area always rammed no tables or standing room after 7.30pm bar used for AI and s/c guests and was complete bedlam the staff were really good considering the pressure they work under. The beach area lovely with lots of beds and great waves. The think the biggest problem is the whole area is owned by 2 hotel chains all the shops and restaurants do the same stuff for the same prices (practically) and it is very remote , No sports bars or even bars, also I am sure that the hotels have a kickback from the taxi service because we were charged a lot more than people we spoke to who booked their own. I would not go back here for the price we paid (which was more than I paid for 2 weeks elsewhere) They need to decide whether to be AI or s/c as a mixture of both does not work, in my view. Sorry that this went on but we were disappointed after having such high hopes for the stay.

Just arrived back from this hotel, good holiday! food was really good, lots of choice, really clean, friendly staff, kids entertainment was good, lovely beach, only downsides were the water park is sea salt water, and we had to pay for food and drink as this wasn't included in all-inclusive package for our hotel. Drinks weren't that great very syrup tasting! Great supermarket stocked lots so we purchased our drinks! Unusual to go away and there be very little restaurant or bars, literally just one on the beach.

We stayed at the Lago hotel for two weeks during August 17 and it was an experience I never want to repeat. I'm not a snob, far from it and was really looking forward to our holiday and we were left disgusted and devastated after paying almost £10k for two families. Aware there are some good reviews and other people have different views and experiences however, we went in peak season where staff should have been in abundance ready to help/serve and instead we had to endure the below: This is only a slight glimpse into our experience and I highly recommend people to avoid this hotel. This poor review hasn't come lightly as I've never had to give such a poor rating. I'm not a complainer, a moaner and I recommend people take notice of the bad review when looking at this hotel as a potential holiday, especially in the school holiday during peak season. On the plus side, our family room was lovely and the water park and beach were very enjoyable. The pool area and pool bar highly let the hotel down and there's not enough seating at the entertainment stage. • Pool area – The sunbed loungers were extremely crammed in like aeroplane seats and guests were forced to seat on top of each other. Due to the pool area being far too small for the size of the hotel (around 900 guests approx.) you were lucky to get a sun lounger unless you were up at 5am to put your towels down! The pool itself was too small for the amount of guests and looked visibly dirty with floating debris and hair, the pool water looked cloudy and not once did I ever see the pool being cleaned throughout the full 2 week duration of our stay. My husband was often up early between 5 & 6am and never witnessed any cleaning of both the pool and the pool side area. The floor was dirty and we’d see the same stains and dirty loungers each day. • Pool bar area – Around the pool bar there were several sad and old looking white tables covered in old drink spills and bird droppings. Although there was tables, you were lucky to find a chair as we counted around 3 chairs (broken) to the eight tables surrounding the pool bar. The pool bar area was always dirty with both the tables and floor covered in litter throughout the day (photo’s attached on email). I even found myself picking up rubbish and putting it into the already full bin just to try and sit at the pool bar to give my kids some lunch. It was utterly disgusting and left me feeling both physically sick and mortified. In addition, there was only ever one member of staff working behind the pool bar throughout our whole duration of our stay and the pool bar was the only bar open throughout the day until the Flamingo bar opened at 6pm. One bar open with one member of staff working along with no maids to help keep the pool area clean resulted in long queues waiting for up to 30 minutes for drinks and food, stressed out rude staff and frustrated guests. • Pool bar food & drink options – After waiting in long queues during the duration of our stay due to the hotel being unstaffed we were often given incorrect watered down drinks in small cups, this meant that we had to queue again. The pool bar served very low standard food which consisted of greasy burgers, cold albino hot dogs and soggy cheese and ham toasties. The pool bar stopped serving food between 1 – 3pm so the chef could go and work in the main restaurant, I’ve never experienced this before. Why would the pool bar close their food during 1-3pm when all the children are playing in the pool? This seemed outrageously stupid and caused further queues for food around 12pm and 3pm when it reopened. On two occasions my they ran out of food at 4pm and would close the bar at 5.45pm even though it was meant to be open until 6pm. • Flamingo bar – Opened at 6pm and only had one member of staff working through to 11pm, this created huge queues with little opportunity of the all-inclusive package. The staff were unable to take breaks on both bars – is this even legal? • Restaurant – During meal sittings it was difficult to get seated as there wasn’t enough tables and staff to turn the tables around. Once we did get seated we had to set our own tables but on many occasions there wasn’t any cutlery so we were left standing waiting for the cutlery to be washed. This was completely unacceptable and left everyone very frustrated as food would get cold and people would end up eating at different times. On a whole the food in the restaurant was of a good standard with a variety of options however on one occasion we discovered the fish goujons were ice cold frozen and not cooked. I tried to alert the staff so others, especially young children, didn’t eat them and get unwell. I was told by the staff member that she couldn’t speak good English and her manager wouldn’t be able to help wither and if I wanted to complain I should go into the kitchen to take it up with the chefs. I was extremely polite upon giving the feedback about the uncooked fish yet the staff were rude and unwilling to help. Lastly, we found cockroaches in the bread basket which almost made my daughter vomit as she’d eaten bread shortly before the discovery. • La Bamba Night Club – Although I’m fully aware that the nightclub wasn’t part of the hotel and this was out of their hands, the club remained closed throughout the duration of our holiday yet is was a huge selling point on your Jet2 website. We travelled with 4 teenagers and we thought this club would have been enjoyed by them, we were shocked to discover it was closed and there wasn’t explanation as to why. We flagged our concern to the Jet" rep and hotel Management but they didn't seem to care or take steps to improve the situation. The rep even agreed they'd had a lot of complaints. It seems to me like the hotel management don't want to put more staff on the bars, chairs round the pool bar or open up any more facilities as this would mean people would actually use the all inclusive facility more and the hotel would have to spend more money - total money pinchers. Please avoid this hotel and look at the Princess hotels instead!

After reading countless bad reviews I was pretty nervous about our holiday... turns out there was no need ! This hotel is an absolute bargain for the money. Staff were all really friendly , only issue we had was air con was leaking when we arrived, after going down to reception this was sorted within the hour. Perfect holiday for families would definitely recommend going. Really can't understand all these bad reviews!
