The hotel was ideally situated, close to the Skybus terminal, and with access to all the public transport. It was also within walking distance of most of the city highlights, including the Haga (old city) and the Kunstmuseert, an amazing Art Gallery. Best breakfasts of any hotel, ever. That is a huge range of fresh, healthy foods.

Good central location, lots of excellent restaurants in easy walking distance and several events in the summer months - International horse show in August 2017 which I hope to visit with my family and friends.

Customer service alone was enough to make me want go back. Excellent location, particularly for access to public transport. Very clean and comfortable and as a woman travelling alone it felt very secure too

Have stayed here several times, at various occasions - and I guess it's the best acknowledgement I can give that I'm always coming back here! I've always stayed in the new part of the hotel, and there seems to be quite some variation to the room designs. Do pay the extra to get a room at the top with the small balcony, as some of the other rooms can be a bit dark and gloomy. I've experienced the service as consistently good - cheerful, friendly and genuine. Breakfast room is a bit small and can be crowded at busy times, but the selection is very good, and you can always relax in the comfy sofas in the reception area if it's too busy. The big plus point is probably the location, just across the street from the central station, with the huge shopping center Nordstan next door, and walking distance to a lot of other shopping, dining and attractions. Getting here by car is a nightmare though - at least when all the construction work is going on. My GPS were constantly trying to route my thru streets that were temporarily closed, so I spent an additional 20-30 minutes crossing back and forth thru the city before I got the there.

We stated here for 3 nights over Gothenburgs busiest weekend , that if the Varvet or half marathon . The hotel was full , our room was clean and comfortable and staff friendly and welcoming . There was a sign in the lift advising guests the hotel was full and pointing out the busy times for breakfast . Breakfast was very busy but the selection was excellent and the staff worked tirelessly to top up dishes etc. The hotel us centrally sutured and I was more than happy with it and had no bad experiences .

Very nice hotel, centrally located, great breakfast, nice amenities (like free coffee) - recommended. Absolutely downside of the Hotel are the Standard Rooms. Today it is no more acceptable, in this category and for the price paid, to offer rooms without hairdryer, minibar, safe and airconditioning. - like the cheapest budget hotels. Also mouldy, outdated bathrooms are not acceptable.

Not at all a 4 star hotel. The creepy dark hallway to my room smelled horrible. It smelled like a mixture of bleach, ammonia, and nail polish remover. It was so strong, it overpowered you the second you got out of the tiny elevator. The smell came into my room which was horrible. So glad i was only there for one night, otherwise i think that smell would have killed me or given me cancer. The bathroom was disgusting, mold everywhere in the shower and there were shampoo or something stains on the tile in the shower so it must never get scrubbed. There was a chair in my room that had stains, the carpet was not clean, and the desk had a filthy writing board on it. Don't stay here, it's definitely not 4 stars like the listing says.

This hotel is an ok choice for a central location. Nothing special, though. The breakfast is very good. Gym very small and dark in cellar felt a bit creapy for a woman alone and I decided not to go there after one time using it. Too bad the spa was so small and so expensive.

Excellent staff great service, location was perfect for my needs and most personnel were friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for short stays in Gothenburg. This was the completion of a two month journey through Europe and my stay here leaves good memories

Very easy and quick access to the Hotel from the Central Station and the Central Bus Station. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. Only the room was a little bit small as well as the bed, but we stayed only one night.
